April 23, 201213 yr Switch Mad Men with The Big C and I'm there too. I haven't watched Veep yet but I have very high hopes.
April 23, 201213 yr Monday is always my favourite day because American TV on Sunday is SUPERB. Edited April 23, 201213 yr by Caïn
April 23, 201213 yr How could I forgot GCB from my list! Sunday night US TV really is amazing, there's the Fox animated comedies (and OUAT and DH) too.
April 23, 201213 yr Girls is really not living up to the hype thus far for me. The lead (Hannah) is so bloody unlikable and self-absorbed. Marnie and Jessa have their moments but it feels like it's written deliberately so that we don't like any of them and they all behave like nasty bitches. The only one I like right now is Jessa's virgin cousin. Watching Veep in a bit.
April 23, 201213 yr Sunday night US TV really is amazing, there's the Fox animated comedies (and OUAT and DH) too. Yeah, American Dad, Simpsons, Family Guy (the latter two not so much these days though)! <3 Plus, Amazing Race, Dexter, The Walking Dead, Homeland.
April 23, 201213 yr Author I personally prefer Tuesdays because Monday is Bones day! I'm so far behind on most of my US shows anyway.

As long as they keep it interesting then I really don't care about how oblivious and privileged the characters are. Most people around our age are twats anyway, especially after graduating. April 23, 201213 yr OUAT returned with 2.9. Great result. However, ABC scheduling is just stupid. So they air repeated episodes of OUAT and then the Titanic before GCB, and now waste a new episode of OUAT with Fireflight… makes total sense…
April 26, 201213 yr so ratings lows for Apt 23 and Revenge. Serves ABC well, considering their crappy scheduling
April 26, 201213 yr I bloody hate ABC. Revenge and Apt 23 both at 2.0 (down from 2.6 and 2.3) because they wanted to air random repeats for half the night. Why do they never learn? It's all originals next week so hopefully they can claw it back. In other news Private Practice rebounded to a 2.2 from a 1.7 this week. I think they'll renew that (and Scandal) instead of GCB now.
April 26, 201213 yr A 2.0 is quite a big drop off for Apartment 23, it's a shame as it was a very good episode. Same for Revenge.
April 26, 201213 yr I think the last 2 episodes will dictate GCB's fate. It has done better then Scandal when the original programming aired before, Scandal really hasn't been left to fend on its own yet, it would most likely plummet without GA's big lead in.
April 26, 201213 yr Author ABC's scheduling department is full of utter tards. The CW's Canadian import 'LA Complex' premièred on Tuesday to a terrible 0.3 (630k) and then repeated last night with a 0.3 and added 60,000 viewers! Rather odd.
April 27, 201213 yr Scandal drew a 2.1 which will probably be adjusted down. So good to see it holding strong going into the May sweeps... I've been thinking that if I were ABC's scheduling guy I would renew Private Practice for a final season of 9 episodes to air after Grey's in the fall, and Scandal for 15 episodes to air in the same slot from January. I think Scandal's storytelling is too strong to dilute over 22 episodes, they could pull in more viewers if they recognise the fact that the writing and political side of it is almost cable quality. I would also give Body of Proof ten episodes to air after DWTS in its fall cycle, and maybe thirteen for GCB from February in the same slot.
April 30, 201213 yr Desperate Housewives return with a 2.5, and GCB rises back up to a 1.9. This is only 0.1 lower than Scandal, which gets a 3.2 lead in from Grey's. I think this proves which is the stronger show.
April 30, 201213 yr Scandal hasn't lost any audience whatsoever since its premiere, and on a straightforward level 2.0s every week beats a 1.9. I'd say Scandal is in the stronger position right now.
April 30, 201213 yr Nice to see it climbing back up again, hopefully it can squeeze a 2.0 (or better) for the final episode.
