May 18, 201213 yr Because they haven't had a new hit drama in... how long? Since Glee? And most series shed viewers as time goes on. Edited May 18, 201213 yr by ✞✞✞
May 18, 201213 yr Author The big hits from Fox of years gone by have all faded away/been cancelled literally leaving them with Glee's fading star, Singing contests and ye olde faithful Bones who's ratings have dropped 3m this year (first time they've really dropped since the show started) and that can be mostly attributed to the god awful mess of the scheduling for it. They should have kept it for mid-season instead of the fragmented pattern of episodes and the very very very late première. Next year I'm hopeful Bones can claw back some of it's overnight ratings (it's +7 is still in the 11m range) but it's in a bitch of a time slot. Unless they get a hit this year not even AI will be able to save them as that may even hit the 3's.

May 21, 201213 yr Not that anyone bar me will be worried by the news, but SyFy (if they even deserve the name anymore!) have cancelled my beloved Sanctuary :( It was obviously going to happen and thankfully had a fitting send off, but still It's AWFUL NEWS.

May 21, 201213 yr Hope she does an Amy Poehler/Tina Fey/Maya Rudolph now though and gets her own show. Don't know how I'm gonna cope without any more Judy and Mindy though.
May 22, 201213 yr Author Not that anyone bar me will be worried by the news, but SyFy (if they even deserve the name anymore!) have cancelled my beloved Sanctuary :( It was obviously going to happen and thankfully had a fitting send off, but still It's AWFUL NEWS. With Eureka ending they have Warehouse 13 (loved the first season, just finished it the other day! Now to find the rest...) and errr Alphas. After that I can't name a scripted show they have at all.
May 22, 201213 yr Alpha's won't be around for long either, from what I've read about it it was quite lucky to even get a 2nd season. They have Haven too, but I think that about covers it. Literally the rest of their schedule if made of about 50% wrestling, 50% ghost hunting SHITE. I'm not even so much worried about the loss of Sanctuary, it's more the loss of genre TV on a channel which, by its name, one would imagine would be chock full of sci-fi programmes.
May 22, 201213 yr Author I can't even see Warehouse 13 lasting that much longer either. For a channel so 'dedicated' to Sci-Fi it seems to love wrestling (Although I can see how they get confused as both are as real as flying pigs). Genre seems to be making a little comeback on network TV but it's absolutely dying on cable. Somewhere where you'd think it'd prosper.
May 22, 201213 yr Haven looks crappy. I've seen one episode and don't think I want to return to watching it. Warehouse 13. I watched a few episodes, looked rather nice. As well as Eureka, which I tried to get into TWO times but still couldn't. With it being cancelled I don't think I ever will. Oh well, I have plenty of other shows to watch without it. Alphas is quite cool. I keep watching one episode every 2 months or so  Don't like the whole EVIL SUPERHEROES CLUB TRYING TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD or whatever storyline. So chichéd. But I'll take a dumb show about guys with superpowers over any 'sickeningly nice' average series.
May 24, 201213 yr I don't see a topic for Apartment 23, so I guess I can post about it here ! Who's been watching the show ? I'm ADDICTED to it, it's the first time in years that I can re-watch episodes a of TV show without being bored of it. It's so fresh and quirky, both lead characters are BRILLANT, and James is frankly AMAZING in it too. He could be my new male crush, so funny and so "distanced" to himself, I like how he can make fun of himself and doesn't care about it. LOVE IT. I'm gutted there're only 7 episodes for season 1. When will the second season start ? September or something ?
May 24, 201213 yr The topic is on page 2, it's here; http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=141062 And yeah, the second season will begin in late September.
May 24, 201213 yr 2.5 and 2.4 for the Apt 23 and Revenge finales respectively. Modern Family had its lowest finale to date with a 4.0.
May 24, 201213 yr Really good for Revenge! Up from previous weeks although it went up against the final minute of American Idol. I hope it can really blow up next season in the post-OUAT slot, the buzz is great but ABC just need to give people a way to catch up with the entire season.
May 24, 201213 yr That's great for both, especially Apt. 23 as it had dropped back a bit over the last couple of weeks.
June 18, 201213 yr I finally rewatched Alias. The last 2 seasons are indeed HORRIBLE. So many inconsistencies, WTF storylines and one too many resurrections which is ANNOYING. If you kill off Vaughn let him stay that way! Lost/Prison Break/etc. producers didn't have hard time killing off their popular characters!
June 19, 201213 yr I finally rewatched Alias. ABC were the main reason for the awful last two seasons. They decided Alias was too serialised and confusing for new viewers so changed it to an awful procedural show. It didn't work. They really did treat the show like crap and I'm sure the writers didn't give a fuck in season five (you could tell really). There was an outcry when Vaughn died so ABC forced the writers to bring him back after the hiatus. WHICH IS WHY IT DIDN'T MAKE SENSE. AT ALL. Edited June 19, 201213 yr by ▲▲▲
June 19, 201213 yr At least they could make Sydney learn Vaughn wasn't dead, and not make it as if she knew all along. It'd really be much more plausible, especially after all of her scenes (magazine subscription cancellation for one) and conversations with Jack (both of them knew so why the f*** pretend?!?! :/ ).
