Posted July 28, 200618 yr New band for Albarn Virgin.net Blur singer and Gorillaz star Damon Albarn has reportedly formed a new band for his next album project. The new group features Albarn, The Clash bass player Paul Simonon, drummer Tony Allen and former Verve band member Simon Tong, with music producer Danger Mouse also working on the project. The band have been working on a record titled 'The Good, The Bad And The Queen', which will be a concept album about London. The group are set to release their debut single in October, with the new album set to hit the shops in January 2007. Is this good news or does this signal the end of Blur?
July 31, 200618 yr i wish he would have done a blur album first as its been ages since we got new blur material,ho wmany bands foes he want to be part of,surly the blur boys are miffed with him doing all the other stuff
August 12, 200618 yr Nah it won't be the end for Blur.. This is probably just the 'solo' thing he was on about I reckon.
