Looks like they're doing a 'Fame Monster' - 8 track new song disc and the original album on the other side.

 

I thought they'd leave it until Christmas, and I'm quite shocked that they've amassed so much new material already, but it will tie in nicely with the tour. I wonder how many of these songs they'll perform on it, if any...

Sounds great, 8 new tracks really make it worth buying. It's almost another whole album.

Shame they won't do an option with the standalone new tracks for £5/6, although I'll definitely get this anyway...

Well its at least it is a proper deluxe, 8 new tracks is good to get so i will be definitly buying it, i wonder will this chart as a new entry on debut week or will we just see progress climb up the charts and count on to its total weeks?

I think it will chart on its own but the sales will be attributed to Progress (the reason why Progress is disc 2)

 

at least thats what i hope anyways..ideal scenario, number 1 spot for progressed and another 500k on the albums sales

 

 

 

and perhaps a live album for the xmas market alongside the blu ray

Ya, i would love a live album to be released on the back of the tour as im a huge fan of live albums and with take that it will definitly sell. I meant to say the cover for progressed is horrible, does anyone else think the same?

Given the luke warm reception to "love love", this may not generate loads of new interest apart from die hard fans but I think its a good idea and a worthy re-release.

In the UK, Gagas The Fame Monster was the first disc, with The Fame album being the 2nd disc, but that was still classified officially as a "deluxe" so the sales were not counted separately and it contributed only to The Fames chart run and overall sales. I expect the same will be true for Progressed :)

yeah i think the album cover is very strange, surely they could have used another shot for it instead of changing it to red :/ lol

 

im very interested to hear that Gary song he sung in LBDS, apparently some people have already heard it (called 'Dont say Goodbye') and said it's a really lovely track and very much like something from BW

 

 

 

 

I don't mind the cover, hopefully it will come in a nice digipack and have lots of new photos.

I never bothered buying Progress, loved it though :D Glad I never did actually, now I can get this instead with 8 extra tracks! Wasn't really a fan pre-The Flood bar 4/5 tracks, but I've loved all the singles so far this era and hope the new tracks are as good! Love Love is SUCH a grower :wub:

Didn't know they will release a expanded version until today in my Amazon e-mail. :lol:

Its good for those who were pondering buying the album in the past and havnt done so yet as they are getting real value for money, but i dont mind buying it again as 8 tracks is worth a re spend!! Im really interested to see how it will sell though.

All 8 songs from progressed are now top 60 on itunes, love love is #40 and #49 so hopefully when combined and if sales hold up l;ove love will climb on sunday.

Beautiful is really just a turbo charged version of Human by The Killers isn't it :lol: The chord progression at the beginning of the verses is identical!

 

Anyway, Progressed is *shock horror* #1 in the mids.
