May 19, 201114 yr Just downloaded Getter Janni's Rockefeller Street which has been freefalling and it was #576 when I downloaded it and in the next update it climbed to #566! Doesn't surprise me - even around #200, the average separation between songs is just 5-6 copies, and ties are common. Down in the 500-600 region, the separation will be only 1/3-1/2 copy per position, based on the 'suck it & see' method I use for non-T200 sales estimates for my YTD figures. ;) Edited May 19, 201114 yr by vidcapper

May 19, 201114 yr Where can I see the iTunes positions updated relatively quickly - I may try your game with a few songs from the new Mona album; which surely are all in the top 1000.
May 19, 201114 yr I noticed when looking a pop bars in some smaller countries, they all go in steps which you can visibly see. You can see the same thing happen on UK iTunes, if you view the page of a newly released album, and look at the pop bars there. I remember doing it with one of the Clubland albums, and you could count exactly how much each track was selling for a while. That's until one of the songs usually starts selling by the dozen and then it gets a bit difficult to count any longer.
May 19, 201114 yr Author Tried it again with Snow Patrol's Set The Fire To The Third Bar, #830 when I downloaded it, #829 in next update then down to #866. Not much of a rise as I thought. Edited May 19, 201114 yr by zenon
