June 12, 201114 yr Cancel that. I found this http://www.robbiewilliams.com/video/offici...tm_medium=email
June 12, 201114 yr I downloaded (illegally obviously) the album last week but you really shouldn't bother... (I deleted it after I listened to it anyway) For die-hard TT fans there my be 2 songs they want to listen to: Love Love (but they probably already have this) and Don't say Goodbye Everyone else should just pass... Perhaps the fact that Robbie doesn't sing a lot / at all in this is the reason TT fans like Progressed

June 12, 201114 yr Now you come to mention it, I don't remember hearing Robbie's voice on any of those tracks. Perhaps he'd disappeared back to LA by the time they were recorded

June 19, 201114 yr 7 weeks at no1 for Progress/ed then it must be the record of the band right? (it is 50/50 for next week: Either Adelle will replace them at no1 or they will get an 8th week)
June 20, 201114 yr 7 weeks at no1 for Progress/ed then it must be the record of the band right? (it is 50/50 for next week: Either Adelle will replace them at no1 or they will get an 8th week) I can't see them keeping the number 1 spot to be honest. I think they sold 77,000 for the first week and can't see Progressed selling half of that next week. 7 weeks is OK though. Kath
June 20, 201114 yr I reckon Beautiful World with sales of about 3 million in the UK (4 million world wide) will remain their biggest album. Up to today Progress has sold 2,147,087 in the UK alone. Add worldwide sales of about 1.1 million and total sales for Take That are approx. 3.3 million. Amazing.

June 20, 201114 yr I meant the record for the most weeks at no1 for a TT album! As for next week: I think TT and Adelle should both sell about 40k and Gaga about 30k... Edited June 20, 201114 yr by 7heDreamer
June 20, 201114 yr Am I the only person in the world who doesn't like Adele? I do think that people give way too much credit to certain artists. Adele is a good singer and comes across as a decent sort of person - but that is it. I cannot stand SLY either (hated it the first time I heard it and every day I love it less and less!) Kath PS - ordered my Arctic Monkeys tickets last Friday. I hope seetickets don't leave it as close as they did to the TT concert for sending them out! Edited June 20, 201114 yr by Kathyp
June 20, 201114 yr I like Adelle. She is talented. And 21 is a well rounded album as a whole to be fair. But yes there is too much hype around her and that makes her a bit annoying at the time. Adelle breaking the a record and Adelle breaking the b record, is she going to have one of the best selling albums ever in the UK? and blah blah blah... People should really relax. She is talented but very fresh to the industry and young. I hope she has a lot more to show us in the coming years but I hate it when people pretend we found the English Mariah Carey (in terms of success and talent) or the 'ambassador of high standards UK music in the rest of the world' just because 21 is doing great in the US... Lets hope she will be grand one day but SHE IS NOT YET, not at her 21 because of a hugely succesful album that is pushing her previous album (which did well at its time) to the top together with it...
June 26, 201114 yr Author  so I listened to the Progressed album today, the new songs WTF is that all about  They should of just stuck to the Progress album. There are just 2 songs on there that I like, When we were young and Love Love. Should of kept them 2 for good b sides to other single releases imo. I really can't put into words what I think about the rest of the new songs

The two decent tracks you speak of should have replaced a few of the duff tracks that were on the original album. Oddly though - Progressed has been getting rave reviews (from the media) which to me is a case of 'Emperor's New Clothes' syndrome. But what do I know? Kath
June 27, 201114 yr I did not bother buying it ..a bit too drivelish for my liking.... surely they could have come up with something better
June 27, 201114 yr I did not bother buying it ..a bit too drivelish for my liking.... surely they could have come up with something better  The most apt word for Progress. The problem is is that Take That because the fans will rave over everything (and more importantly - buy everything) they'll continue to produce drivel. Kath
June 27, 201114 yr Glad it's just not me that does not like the songs..Love Love is a good song but the rest are phiiiiiiiiiTT!! Do you think they came to a mutual agreement just to shovel out anything while the going was good <_< They keep sayng Gary Barlow is in charge so is he responsible for this fiasco ( or did Robbie bribe him ) B) Edited June 27, 201114 yr by Sacramento
