For me:

The Time - 9/10

Just Can't Get Enough - 9/10

Don't Stop the Party - 7/10

Good to see Beyonce climbing!! :D

The BEP have really gone downhill IMO. Haven't really liked any of their new stuff. The E.N.D album was OK, but it was nowhere near as good as the Elephunk days and The Beginning is nowhere near as good as The E.N.D, I would honestly go as far to say its pretty awful. For me the rates go like:

The Time - 0/10 - Possibly my least favourite song EVER

Just Can't Get Enough - 6/10

Don't Stop The Party - 4/10

Such a shame as most of their earlier singles were at least 8+, my favourites being DPWMH, Hey Mama and Don't Lie. I really wish that BEP would make a re-apperance. At least with The E.N.D, they had two not bad singles, BBP which was a 7 and MMH which was an 8 for me, but the only one that is remotley listenable of the new stuff is JCGE and thats only bearable.

Snoop Dogg on Graham Norton. LOL.

I don't know why I find that so funny.

The BEPs were much more hated during their first two albums (well, their first two "big" albums) than they are now. At least that's what I experienced. Especially by adults. Honestly, lots of adults like I Gotta Feeling, whilst with some of their earlier songs, especially Don't Phunk With My Heart, Let's Get It Started, etc, I got given a ridiculously hard time by my parents and teachers for listening to. It was actually quite pathetic really.

Snoop Dogg on Graham Norton. LOL.

 Snoop Dogg on chat shows in general is just a lol concept.

I'm Into You  #15 :w00t:

(On The Floor #13) Time to overtake asap! :D

Sweat (great climb) #6 :)

Judas  #7 :)

Right There and California King Bed seem to be stuck at the same number for a few days now  Probably continue to climb tomorrow and throughout the week next week. (even though not bothered with Nicole's new one, nowhere near as good as DHYB).

Why did Judas go up? :o

I think its more SHM going down. :) But hopefully can get #7 officially on Sunday, that'll be its peak! Did Alejandro peak at #6? and LoveGame #19?

'Alejandro' peaked at #7. ;)

Alejandro peaked at #7.

But despite only peaking at #7, it ended up being the 3rd most played song on the radio in the entire of 2010 AND only began getting notable airplay halfway through the year!

It's SHM, her other 2 songs and Guetta all going down from when she was at #10 (Sweat re-overtook it, hence it being #7 and not #6).

I thought Telephone was played more than Alejandro?

Will "The Monster Ball" on Sky1 have a big impact on iTunes? Not sure how many people will watch, hopefully it will be similar to Radio1 performance last week, although she doesn't perform any of the new songs, so perhaps just TFM tracks climbing up.

Nope, apparently not! :o And that was despite Telephone being a bigger hit, and being in the chart since the start of the year!

Alejandro was more radio-friendly though. It had a bit of a europop vibe from the 80's (think Ace of Base, ABBA, Madonna) to it, so the people choosing what gets played on the radio (i.e. middle-aged people) would've liked that music when they were younger, hence liked Alejandro. Telephone was a bit more modern, and had more of a beat, hence making it less radio-friendly.

I highly doubt that's the reason why 'Alejandro' was played more.

I think it's highly likely that it is!!

You have to ask yourself, why was it Alejandro? Why not the other summer hits (which sold a similar amount or more than Alejandro)? Why not Stereo Love? Why not Airplanes? Why not We No Speak Americano? Why not OMG? Why not Good Times?

That's the only explanation I can think of. Alejandro appeals more to the people who choose what gets played on the radio, I think because it sounds more like the music they listened to when they were younger. Let's be honest, we're not seeing many 35 year-olds going around saying how much they love OMG are we? So of course Alejandro will get more airplay than it, even if OMG is by far the bigger hit (despite the lack of airplay).

Similar reasons why Forget You, The Lazy Song, etc. get lots of airplay.

Seriously, Alejandro has no autotune, no rapping. Nice verse/chorus structure. Not too fast a tempo. Very summery. It's a perfect radio song, even though it didn't sell that much (it's on 400,000 now, I think).

Just Dance #1

Poker Face #1

Paparazzi #3

Bad Romance #1

Telephone #1

Alejandro #7

Born This Way #3

The Edge of Glory #6

Judas #9

Hair #?

Is that right? ^ NINE top 10 hits already?? :o

Yeah, that's right. 9 top 10 hits in 2 years! :o

So at this rate she'll had 50 top 10 hits by 2020! :o

 I wouldnt be surprised if i'm honest! :P She's a massive hit-making machine!

Hair'll debut at number 13, I reckon then.

Great to see 'Judas' on the climb, although bad times for her other singles and the likes of Guetta and Swedish House Mafia - although I imagine that's just the weekend effect happening.

Why has 'Sweat' by Snoop Dogg risen by about 6 places?!

Graham Norton. :)

She may have top 10 hits, but these new singles are weak and will fall out soon.
