Why not using the live Pop Bars link on the first post/first page ;)

Because they are also behind sometimes, I've noticed.

"Realistic" would be the word I'd use.

Hardly. Since they generally have very good chart runs

Yeah and they generally have good release strategies.

I really don't see the argument here.

The arguement is that they generally have great chart runs so why would this be any different. It may not get high but should have longevity when the radio and tv slots kick in

Eventually we agree that you're wrong. The tv & radio has hardly kicked in yet. Promotion has not kicked in yet... It will have great longtivity if this is what it's like without much promotion and radio & tv support atm. Yeah they are falling.. it was expected dosen't mean they will have 3 weeks in top 40 :L, when all on television atm is the top 40 which gives people like Chris Brown a boost.

Someone lock lee and SceneofSIXCrimes in a room so they can sort out their differences and stop this tedious argument :P

Yes, I'm wrong about something that will or will not happen in the future.

All I'm saying is that if Beyonce, GaGa etc plummet due to lack of promotion (whether performing slots, video play, radio play), the Saturdays don't stand a chance. Yes, they have a video on their side and initially I thought it could hold up but with their fanbase already buying it this week and it already gaining a lot of video play, I doubt it will improve this week's chart peak.

We'll see if Radio 1 jump on it this evening.

Alexandra :w00t:

Hmm, Templecloud have gone down a place to #15. Jessie overtook it I think.

I think the Sats will peak this week but I don't think they'll have too disastrous a chart run.

Aerosmith will possibly get their yearly one week in the top 100 a bit early this year then :P Then they could get a second if it gets used on XF again as usual. Great to see a little revival of both previous SHM songs :D And Use Somebody as I mentioned earlier

so that explains Chris Brown and Eminem's random climbs  really glad for the Calling though, one of my favourites

Steve i've seen the video quite a good amount of times on the TV. :)

16 23 Aloe Blacc I Need A Dollar Epic 325

and #2 on Radio so its got a lot of support.

the video was released ages ago and thats the peak position on the video charts only this week now its top 10 and so is played by all the top40 chart shows on every day on mtv so its video play will obviously rise.the song imo comes to symbolise the sucess of oa/os revolution by its weekly rise as more people have picked up on the song in comparison to a pop song by britney or riri which recieves a masisve boost when their videos are released (fair play to them im not hating just comparing chart performance).

Why is there a sudden surge of 59p songs?

You just answered your own question.

I did? o.O *confused*

Yes... there's a surge of old songs because they're 59p... :P

Wow at Alexandra Stan :o I didn't think that OA/OS would work with dance songs (pretty sure Alors On Danse would have been a top 10/15 hit last year had it been held back), but this is proving me wrong. Next stop top 3, I wonder if it can get there.

The charts really have gone almost full circle again this year with most songs climbing to their peak again, and you can never really predict what's going to grow and grow and be a future #1!

A bit late here but THIS. I love the charts much more this year thanks to OA/OS and the charts being unpredictable. Last year you had an idea in your head of who was going to no.1 on what week but today there's lots of contenders and all the number ones are deserved and have longevity (except Ke$ha 'We R Who We R' but that still did OK compared to some no1s last year)

If Alex Stan was held back it would have had a boring chart run of 5-8-13-18-25-30-37-x, I love nice chart runs and it's good to see 90% non-frontloaded songs :D

"Alexandra #8" I came into this thread thinking whaaat Burke has a new single  But good on Stan her follow-up "Get Back ASAP" is MILES better though. If only Inna could crack top 10 too. .
Because they are also behind sometimes, I've noticed.

Not that much as on iTunes imo and it's much easier to open.
