Apparently she's performing this on Britain's Got Talent, tomorrow night, which just screams ODD and if it happens I can't wait to see the CAR CRASH moment when Ant and Dec talk to her after the performance.

Well there, you've given me enough reasons why it's odd! Britain's Got Talent last year was all about the most popular acts at the minute, and this year they're definitely scraping the barrel with Avril Lavigne... :\

Maybe it's a bit odd, but what I was thinking about was singling Avril out. Miley Cyrus performed last year, in terms of the UK I wouldn't call her one of 'the most popular acts at the minute', especially compared to some other artists. And aren't the Sugababes meant to be performing this year as well? They were big, but they flopped last era and thus I wouldn't call them one of the most popular acts at the minute either.

I think the problem with Avril is lack of buzz (probably because her label wanted her to do a JLO / Britney style album and she chose to do her own album) therefore promotion is limited with them. Has the video even been put on UK TV yet?

She just went and sang What The Hell! :moopygrin:

I watch the performance i thought i was really good! wish she had done a mash up of smile and maybe another song o the album like push or wish you were here other than what the hell.

I wish there had been more Smile but it wasn't a bad performance.
