August 3, 200620 yr That's good news for Little Barrie, but who are they? Little Barrie are a three-piece band from Beeston, Nottinghamshire in the United Kingdom, since relocated to London. The band consists of Barrie Cadogan (guitar and vocals), Lewis Wharton (bass) and Billy Skinner (drums). Before Billy, Wayne Fulwood was playing drums and singing. Their music could be described as stripped-down soul-infused blues rock 'n' roll. Little Barrie released their debut album, We Are Little Barrie, in February 2005. It was recorded in studio with Edwyn Collins. Wayne left the band before the recording of their second album Stand your Ground, recorded by Blues Explosion drummer Russell Simins and new drummer Billy Skinner. The album is produced by Dan The Automator and Mike " Prince Fatty" Pelanconi Discography [edit] http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/2/21/We_are_a_little_barrie.jpg Albums We Are Little Barrie (2005, Genuine/Artemis Records) Stand your Ground (2006, Genuine) Release date: 02 October 2006 [edit] EPs Little Barrie EP Burned Out / Be The One / Thinking On The Mind / Mud Sticks (cd Only) / Thinking On The Mind (aspects Remix)(Genuine) Release date: 27 September 2004 Girls & shoes EP (Japanese limited) I Wonder Whether / Girls & Shoes / Pretty Pictures / Why Don't You Do It (Ｐias／Ｈostess) Release date: 12 July 2006 [edit] Singles Shrug off Love / Reply Me (Stark Reality 005) Release date: 03 Aug 2000 Don't call it the truth / Give me a microphone (Stark Reality 010) Release date: 04 June 2001 Memories Well / Didn't Mean A Thing (Stark Reality 015) Release date: 26 November 2001 Burned Out / Buy My Style (Showdown) Release date: 13 February 2002 Free Salute / Didn't Mean A Thing (Vinyl Only) / Buy My Style(CD Only) / Stones Throw Instrumental (CD Only) (Pias) Release date: 22 January 2005 Long Hair (Radio Version) / Long Hair (Stereo MC's 7" Edit) (CD Only) / Long Hair (Extended Version) (Vinyl Only) / Once Upon A Lie (Demo) (Pias) Release date: 19 May 2005 Greener Pastures (Radio Edit) / Burned Out (DJ Nu-Mark Remix) / Greener Pastures (Live At The Ab Club, Belgium) (CD Only) Release date: 19 September 2005 [edit] Miscellaneous Aspects - Impact single Impact (Little Barrie remix) Aspects 2004 LP 'Mystery Theatre?
