Songs I'm predicting to see in the top ten;

Elize - Can You Feel It

Alcazar - Stay The Night

Untouched - Smack Me

Delta Goodrem - Believe Again

Caro Emerald - A Night Like This

Sheelah - Psycho/The Last Time (the latter I suppose)

Tone Damli - I Love You

And then I don't know...

Ellie Goulding - Under The Sheets and Brandy - Right Here too perhaps?

Seeing as he's ruled out Glorious and Sadness Is A Blessing from appearing, I think you could be right.

09 || Molly Sandén - Det Är Inte Jag - XXXIII

The return of The Sandén slides in at number 9 with this fantabulous little number. Less Kelly Clarkson than her still to come winner, but still rather amazing non the less.

010 || Sheelah - Psycho [FSR Rontvia - XXVI]

Continuing the FSR Rontvia appreciation, as you were all warned this would be, the stunning Sheelah are the first up from the top 10 with their first winner Psycho :wub:

009 || Caro Emerald - A Night Like This [FSR Rontvia - XXV]

Making that a run of four in a row Caro Emerald is up next with the sensational jazz/pop epic A Night Like This. Such a brilliant song and I'm glad her album have been getting some recognition at long last.

08 || Jessica Mauboy - Forget Your Name - XXX

Jessica's eventual appearance for Ashton [15 later than originally scheduled with Burn] is not with BJ Festivalen entry Burn but with Forget Your Name. Forget Your Name is the bonus track [!!!] from Jess' second album Get 'Em Girls, despite being the bonus track it manages to be pretty much the best song on the entire album.

008 || Kid Sister - Daydreaming [Cadbury - XXII]

:wub: The sensational Kid Sis breaks off the run of Rontvian entries with Daydreaming. The video for this is epic and she is insanely attractive. At 214 plays this is my 19th most played song of all time, 4th most played BJSC entry behind one still to come, Butterflies and Music Everywhere [263 plays]

007 || Alcazar - Stay The Night [Numayania - XIX]

The campest thing ever to be entered to Melodifestivalen and BJSC is up next. Numayania leap into the top10 with Stay The Night [192 plays 27th of all time, 7th BJSC behind I Like That and Right Hand Hi (195)] and this epic epic epic track is just purepop perfection.

Two of my favourite entries (of my own). I'm thrilled for Caro getting the success she deserves - well she deserves a lot more actually but a top ten album is a start. UK tour now please! It was one of those months where I thought 'I'm pretty sure this will flop, but I NEED people to hear this song' - 12th was a very pleasant surprise as I didn't think that there would be that many people that 'got it' on here. It's not a genre that pops up very frequently is it :lol: I'm sort of surprised that she hasn't been recycled yet - Back It Up and That Man would make great BJSC entries!

This is great. What on earth were her/the record company thinking leaving it as a bonus track? Madness...

Went top 20 in my personal chart, which is relatively rare for BJSC entries!

I don't care for Daydreaming at all. Wow at that Music Everywhere play count :o How come so many lesser played entries of mine are higher up? Did you start to tire of it or just play songs more times in 2009 like me (my most played of the year so far is on 63 plays, in 2009 my most played had 169 plays!). Stay The Night is sensational pop - not much more I can say, one of my favourite songs of all time.

07 || KaraMel - Underwear - XXXI

I honestly did not expect this to make the top20 at all, I just sent it because there was literally nothing I was more in love with at the time. Turns out I was well wrong as this flew up the leaderboard to an incredible 4th position giving me back to back 4th's. I am so very proud of how this song did and I'm so very glad I entered it. Clearly the wait until the 31st contest to send trashy, cheesy purepop worked wonders.

I agree, she needs to tour and ANLT needs to got top5 ASAP.

Back It Up is currently on my back up list :heehee:

I have no idea, it's bloody incredible

I played Music Everywhere mountains since you entered it, but it slightly preferred other songs when ranking it. It's incredibly catchy and great fun to listen too, hence the sky high play count.

My most played song of the year is Keisha Buchanan - Gimmie Pressure with 141 plays and 63rd on my all time rankings.

006 || Eric Saade - It's Gonna Rain [Kopecka - XXVII]

This would be the second track Rich missed out in his predictions for the top10.

HE WILL BE POPULAR

This is an incredible track in the middle of [bIAS ALERT] the best trio of winners BJSC has ever seen[/bIAS ALERT]. Absolutely brilliant piece of NuSchlager and the highlight from his début album.

Wow, #7, very nice :wub: It's a lucky number, so maybe it's a good omen for XXXIV :heehee:

I'm with Rich on Daydreaming I'm afraid, kind of redefines meh... :(

By the way that's the one Eric song I can sort of stand :kink:

06 || Molly Sandén - Mitt Liv Är Mitt - XXVIII - WINNER

The Kelly Clarkson left over that was accidentally translated into Swedish and given to Eric's beard is just missing out on the top5 for Ashton. This utterly brilliant pop stomper currently holds 3 [!!!] BJSC records. [First foreign language track, first tied winner and most appearances before début win]

This incredible pop/dance epic from Holland is by far the best thing BaNG has ever sent to this contest and remains one of the contests stand out entries.

05 || Lorelei Carlson - Alone - XIII

The song that officially kicked off the Risks FTW strategy was this criminally underrated [by all bar Jonjo, ta for the everlasting Alone support] brilliant track ushered in a new era for Ashton with a catchy as fuck hook and achieved a meh finish undeserving of such a brilliant track.

004 || Sheelah - The Last Time [FSR Rontvia - XXXI]

The highest placed winner on the countdown is this 12/10 life redefining epic from Sheelah. I am slowly converting everyone of my friends over to this incredible scandipop song. Truly genre defining and BJSC's ultimate winner.

You know it's funny, The Last Time is decent, but I never liked it as much as Psycho...

04 || Nevio & Gabriella Cilmi - Non Ti Aspettavo (Libertà) - XVII

Hunting down an old Gabriella Cilmi demo I stumbled, entirely by chance/accident, across this collaboration with an Italian singer named Nevio. Gabriella is managed by notorious cuntbags Crown and thus nobody outside of Nevio's fanbase knew of this. After the foreign language spin-off this part Italian [and male at that!!!] track was the first time anything in a foreign language had been entered by the Federal Republic to the main contest. This was robbed of a final place, completely robbed.
