"Lola's Theme" as it's the song that I'm least familiar with out of the remaining songs.

I love the top 10 personally, from a dire list, I think MOST of the good songs made it far (though Hey Ya, In The Shadows and Dragostea Din Tei should've been higher imo :( ) This Love is my second favourite song on the list, I don't get all the hate :(

Sorry for helping getting rid of Hey Ya, but objectively, it was my least favourite song left. I honestly find it annoying and overrated.

 

I'm surprised, but pleased that This Love has got this far. I love most of the top 10.

I can understand why some people might find Hey Ya! overrated, but you have to understand it sounded unbelievably fresh and different when it came out back in 2003, at a time of faceless rappers, manufactured pop, reggae-lite and every popstar jumping over their feet to work with The Neptunes :lol:. Things were a little on the bland side, particularly on the Hot 100, so when this bonkers, hook-filled, genre-bending tune came around it was very much welcome, I think. And it united (almost) EVERYONE - young, old, pop fans, hip hop fans, rock fans, etc. Its far-reaching appeal was simply incredible to be honest. It's just a shame its sales were so spread out over many months that it didn't get to #1 here in the UK :angry:

 

Plus, personally speaking, when done well - funk music is amazing, so any funk influence in a modern song gets a thumbs up from me.

This tbh. Everybody seems to like the song. Even Heart FM play it, and they're quite anti-urban. The closest I've heard to hip hop on Heart since then are Crazy and I Gotta Feeling/Meet me Halfway, so it's quite a big thing that they play it tbh.
