So this show airs on ABC in the US with good ratings (straight after DWTS on a Monday night), and has just completed it's third season stateside, but Channel 5 have just bought the UK rights to the show and will be starting from the beginning on Friday 17th June. Season one only has ten episodes, but the next two each have twenty-four.

 

Any fans already? I think it sounds quite interesting, a bit different from some other crime shows, so will certainly check it out. Spoilers for future seasons please, as I aim for this to be a UK pace thread.

I've got the first episode downloaded and I began watching but I switched off after a couple of minutes because I thought it was madness to get into yet another show before I finished a few others... if it's airing on Five though I might watch it at their pace. Bump this thread to remind me on the day Jack!

This has been airing on Sky for a while and I can safely say it's the worst show I've ever seen.

Yeah Alibi has the first-run rights in the UK.

 

 

I saw the Aus premier of this way way way back in 2009 [Channel 7 paired it with Bones over there ^_^] and I've been meaning to get into this as I rather liked it.

Starts tonight at 9pm. Might as well give it a try since there is nothing else to watch on TV tonight.

I'm like this, I need some new shows to get me through the summer. I am currently hooked on ER reruns on Atlantic though!

 

I remember recording the first episode after it aired on Albi but never got round to watching it! I shall make the effort this time.

Really disppointed by this. It's nothing special really. Perhaps less serious than your typical crime drama.

Nathan Fillion is a top actor though. Seen him in tons of shows.

Anyone actually watching this? I recently picked up 1-3 on DVD and have raced through it. I love it but we all know I'm a crime drama whore especially if there is some element of comedy in there. (See Bones & In Plain Sight for example)

Season 3 Episode 18 is on my TV currently. My mum is in the states currently and should have hopefully picked up season 4 for me (I have a US Blu-Ray player). I hope to be catching up on season 5 shortly thereafter. I've read what happens at the end of season 4 so I'm very excited to catch-up.

Almost done with Season 4. They are currently trying to pass a blatant Aussie off as a Brit. First flaw I've found with this show. It's taken a while to get a flaw shame it had to be something so bloody easy as a British accent.

By this time (mid-season 2) I'm already head over heels with a show but this one is different. Feels very FILLER right now. Not that I don't like the show - it's excellent, just not as instant and powerful as, say, The Mentalist. Liking lots of sass (literally from everyone :D ) and Beckett's sarcasm.

 

I just hope some big twist is coming.

Has there been an explosion yet? I forget what season that is.

Oops I said that and then there's this twist about Beckett's mother's killer in s02e13. Ha.

It took me TWO SEASONS to finally understand the UTTER BRILLIANCE of this show. I'm on episode 12 of Season 3 and it's already been OVERPACKED with amazing storylines. The 'Nikki Heat' episode had me in stitches so many times. "Until she steals my boyfriend and kills me in my sleep". (I have a feeling Natalie will get killed off soon - after all she's playing Nikki in the film)
