Posted May 26, 201114 yr Nadine Coyle has announced the release of her debut single in America. The Girls Aloud popstar, whose first solo album Insatiable was met with a disappointing commercial response last year, published a link to the "exclusive premiere" of the track 'Runnin'', taken from her debut LP. An accompanying statement said: "Singer-songwriter Nadine Coyle is proud to introduce asneak preview of the summer smash 'Runnin'' to US audiences and clubs. "Nadine is currently in the studio with hot DJ/producer Duo Vito Fun & Damian Major collaborating on new club remixes." The release went on to inform the US audience that Coyle is "most famously known for being the lead singer of the Guinness World Records-acclaimed pop group Girls Aloud". Earlier this year, Coyle confirmed that she had separated from her management, which pushed back the release of 'Put Your Hands Up' as her second UK single.
May 27, 201114 yr The press release for this was just epic. The best thing they could muster up was that she came 4th in a poll. Behind Garry and Robbie - Shame. SUCCESS!! But no. I love the fact this came to press the exact same time as Cheryl got the boot. Nadine must really have perked up. I hope she at least manages to make some sort of dent, though I wont hold out much hope. 'Runnin' is a good track, though I remain devatsated the world will remain unaware of the EPICNESS that is 'Red Light'.
May 27, 201114 yr Oh dear. If you can't break the UK then why try the USA. If they struggle with Cheryl's accent god save them with Nadine's
May 27, 201114 yr HA. This shall be hilarious! It won't dent the Hot 100, but it looks like it might break the Hot 100 Dance chart.
May 27, 201114 yr I cant understand why she is even bothering, nadine should realise uk is her biggest market (due to girls aloud) she needs to concentrate on that first and try and get some uk success. Whoever is guiding nadine would want shooting as nadines solo career has been a complete an utter disaster and she seriously needs an overhaul to try and get it off the ground.
May 27, 201114 yr Lead singer of Girls Aloud? I can just imagine Americans talking 'bout her.... ''Isn't that the band Cheryl Cole was in?'' -''Who's Cheryl Cole?'' -''Oh, ya know, Simon Cowell's $l*t who always said 'pet' and no-one knew what she was on about'' -''Oh, her...''
May 27, 201114 yr She won't even have the Cheryl claim to fame as Chezza's been sacked from US XF... If she totally flops in the UK, when GA are the biggest girlband since the Spice Girls, I don't see how she thinks she can do anything in the US, especially when GA didn't (I do recall them having a US release for one of their albums I think )
May 28, 201114 yr I didn't think Nadine's type of music is really liked in the US. Edited May 28, 201114 yr by kimberley
May 28, 201114 yr I didn't think Nadine's type of music is really liked in the US. I don't think Nadine's music is liked anywhere, bar a few members on BJ
May 28, 201114 yr You Are the One = better choice. For the American market. But she's gonna flop anyway, and she deserves to because the crap that is her album. BUT if Cheryl was allowed to sell 900k copies then Nadine needs to at least sell that 10000000 times.
May 28, 201114 yr LOL imagine if she was huge in the US... haha. Her thought process is trying to launch herself for Adele-success.
May 28, 201114 yr LOL imagine if she was huge in the US... haha. Her thought process is trying to launch herself for Adele-success. That would geniunely be hilarious! Runnin' might be a Hot 100 number 1 for 10 weeks, you never know :kink:
June 4, 201114 yr Nothing she has is suitable to launch her in the US. If it didn't work here, where she is known, it won't work over there. Although I guess the fact she's known or at least percieved as being a c**t over here didn't help her much.
