Kids also need to learn respect and manners, something tulisa doesnt have (from what i've seen -_-).

Tulisa is really pretty though. And she's surrounded by immature boys winding her up all the time, but she's nice in real life. :)

Yeah, to be fair we only see parts of their character, none of us know these celebs, we'll see i'm going to give her a chnace not jus completely write her off.

Kelly is a great role model imo and an artist with whole package. Beyonce would be perfection but obviously way too busy!

Yeah. Kelly is amazing!!! What a wonderful person! Don't really care for that Gary Barlow person though.

My dream X Factor judging panel would be Fergie, Rihanna, Sarah Palin and 50 Cent.

The f***? Lmao

Vanessa Carlton at #35 now. :o

He's a non-entity who was injured in an accident, why would he?

Non-entity? I'm assuming you've forgotten how big a hit Beautiful Girls was then? Although I didn't like that song, personally, but it was huge.

Although he doesn't seem to have climbed much tbh. Beautiful Girls is #687, but it's pretty much a iTunes top 1000 staple (read: classic). It makes sense that he'd sell more, since he's all over the news and Twitter.

Tulisa can sing. She's amazing.

Tulisa is good. Kids need to learn to be tolerant of the way different people speak. Especially when you live in a country such as the UK. :)

She teaches people to let themselves go and have a little fun. We could do with more people like Tulisa in the world today. :)

Tulisa is attractive, but will she make a good XF judge? ISTM if she does speak like a... a 'hood rat' ISTM that will *not* appeal to the older & more middle-class sections of the XF audience!

I don't know if she also shares the usual rapper's love of profanity, but if so, that's also going to be a problem on a family show...

Probably not, but the younger kids will love them (apart from those girls that seem to hate anybody famous that wears a lot of makeup for some reason :drama:).

I've seen lots of older people go "lol, who's Tulisa? What's an N-Dubz?", but I've seen loads of 12 year-olds be all like "Who's Gary Barlow? Isn't he dead?".

Which would not be a problem if XF was on MTV, but I suspect no more than 1/3rd of the XF audience will be of the rap-loving age, so her selection is a big gamble. If it is a deliberate ploy by Cowell to try and encourage younger, less MOR singers, it's likely to backfire, as if a rap singer won the overall competition, they'd lose hundreds of thousands of sales from people who *would* buy songs by the likes of Matt Cardle, etc.

True. And I think most of the people that they think Tulisa might draw in watch it anyway. I remember last year Cher was very urban, and a lot of people hated her. :( I loved her though. Never thought I'd see the day when someone would audition using Soulja Boy, and actually not be a joke! :o

 40. A Thousand Miles (Single Version) - Vanessa Carlton

Sincerely hope this does not go top 40 again this week. It's too DISNEY.

I sincerely hope the opposite - I like the song, and it would make a change for someone can both sing & play an instrument to get into the T40... :P

Looks like MYFML won't be going near the top 10 again unless it's used on another apisode of BGT. Seems to have stalled at #26.
