Posted May 28, 201114 yr . BJSC XXXIV - Final Voting Hello and welcome back to the Batidome in Colpi Golpes, Batidas for the BJSC XXXIV final. We started off with 40 nations all battling for a place in the final and now after the semi finals, they've been whittled down to a final 28. Sticking to BJSC tradition, all non-qualifying nations still have to vote in the final and the deduction for finalists who don't vote is, as ever, 33%. The final will work as follows. You vote in the traditional BJSC manner: 12 points for your favourite entry, 10 for your second favourite, 8 for your third favourite, 7 for your fourth favourite, and so on down to 1 point for your 10th favourite entry. Votes are sent to me, Hitstastic by PM, by 6pm Saturday 4th June. Votes sent after this deadline will be accepted at the host's discretion. The results of BJSC XXXIV will be revealed 8pm Sunday 5th June (to avoid a clash with the UK Top 40 discussion thread). May 28, 201114 yr In 23 contest Nickodonia have tried and failed to win the bjsc, now in bjscxxxiv, you can make a difference - vote for Safura - Paradise and change history next Sunday :kink: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvF3WWr4IIU YES WE CAN!
May 28, 201114 yr And I must be absolutely miles off the most finals qualified for before winning - this is only the 9th time I've qualified for the final [along with 5 AQs] 9/19 semi finals qualified for is actually still quite an awful ratio :kink:.
May 28, 201114 yr Considering it's such a strong contest, there are ten tracks here that easily stand out for me, so that part of the equation isn't a hard one. Putting these ten into order however, will be :drama: I was helped a lot by some of my favourites falling in the semis though, and a couple of the less amazing tracks making it through
May 28, 201114 yr Shocked I got through to be honest, considering hardly anyone predicted me to, was a pleasent surprise ^_^ The songs I haven't heard yet will have to be shockingly good if they are going to snatch the 12 points away from my favourite song from Semi Final 2.
May 28, 201114 yr Aaaaand FSR Rontvia have voted! Glad I always listen to both semis at once, my internet's completely buggered now in terms of downloading and streaming youtube vids and I wouldn't have been able to hear the Semi 2 qualifiers!
May 30, 201114 yr Hardly history, the Ashtonise record stands at 28 contests before victory. ^_^ Torchwood will have that record soon! This is our 27th attempt!
May 30, 201114 yr A Mikey hosted contest would surely be a classic though? :o I've seen Suzie's song in a few personal charts so far, so I'm not sure that I'd rule it out completely yet...
May 30, 201114 yr Author Everyone vote for Suzie McNeil. :D Surely Mikey hosting BJSC XXXV will be as excellent as Shelli hosting Family Fortunes? :o A classic... A painful mess.... Basically the same thing. I know what you mean. BJSC XXXIV has been a disaster so far. :D
May 30, 201114 yr Surely Mikey hosting BJSC XXXV will be as excellent as Shelli hosting Family Fortunes? :o And we've yet to see whether that one would actually deliver either.
May 30, 201114 yr I know what you mean. BJSC XXXIV has been a disaster so far. :D But you're not Mikey.
May 30, 201114 yr Anything less than a 10 and Eledan are throwing an Ashton-style fit and bomb half of the nations with all nuclear weapon we own. That is what nuclear weapon is for after all, isn't it?!

Everyone vote for Suzie McNeil. :D Surely Mikey hosting BJSC XXXV will be as excellent as Shelli hosting Family Fortunes? :o I know what you mean. BJSC XXXIV has been a disaster so far. :D I do have hosting experience :D I've hosted Hidden Indie Treasures on Haven, it went down without a technical hitch
