Louis has never had the girls, got a funny feeling he will get the Girls category this year. Louis had the Overs last year

For me, Gary is the genuine one who really is looking for talented singers. Therefore he's the new "Simon Cowell".

On the flipside, we still have that NONCE of an Irishman in Louis who couldn't care less about the singing. He's there for the "entertainment" (ie; Jedward (allegdly!!! were they actually entertaining?) and Wagner (funny for the first...say, 2 weeks before the novelty wore off).

So if Louis gets the overs, I'll predict now that Goldie will be in the final 12 AND she won't go out in the first week. :D

Is The X Factor 2011 predictable? Hahaha...course not. :P

For the sake of it, I'm already championing Goldie for 7th place. :cheer:

I don't think Louis would find that funny though. :kink:

My prediction:

Gary = Girls

Kelly = Boys

Tulisa = Groups

Louis = Overs (again :D )

Although there weren't that many acts shown, there was a large amount of GOOD acts shown, compared to BAD. Irishgirl was my favourite; she's very Diana Vickers, and I look forward to seeing more of her. Kelly was an excellent judge (and I knew she would be! :P), and Tulisa was epic during the last audition. :heart: Can't wait to see the rest now!
Kelly Rowland is my favourite judge, she's hilarious!! :wub: Wasn't expecting it from her ... Tulisa is pretty great as well. Gary Barlow gets right on my tits though trying to be the new Simon Cowell and his accent gets on my nerves :(.

Oh and DO NOT watch this with family, they were doing my head in with opinions every five f***ing seconds and my sister being the 'indie queen' she is criticizing every little aspect of the show. Eugh.

Agreed on Gary, he is such a twat. It just says it all when Louis Walsh isn't the worst person in a given group - Gary will not replace Simon (weirdly I didn't miss him, Cheryl or even Dannii though :o) and he needs to learn that!

My mum keeps asking what every song in the background is which is so irritating, and as soon as someone comes on 'ooh, I like him' or 'she looks a bit iffy' etc. It's like being on Buzzjack but with the people speaking and you can't skip over what you want to ignore.

They got it exactly right last year I remember! :o If so then I think

that's PERFECT, the girls are always my faves so yay for my fave judge getting them! Also lol @ Louis having Overs again - though he does manage to work well with what he's got! Tulisa will be perfect for groups, she'll make sure we don't have 3/4 Westlife-lite groups. Gary might try and make the boys sing Take That numerous times though. But on the whole, what brilliant choices!

OMG I guessed correctly. The X Factor is predictable these days lol - but at least I got exactly what I wanted

Well...

Kelly :wub:! She's amazing already. So many quotable things in there. Tulisa's been a bit quiet, hopefully we'll see more later, and Gary, well, I agree with him on most of what he's saying, we do want talent.

As for contestants, Janet was brilliant, almost definitely in the finals already. The rest from tonight, meh.

Oh, and that George Gerousawhatever is a twat and a vile human being. Jussayin'

I hope that's not true. :( I'd rather have gary with the groups, tulisa with the girls and kelly with the boys. gary has been part of a big boyband for a long time, so he'll handle the groups better, and I think kelly would choose better song choices for boys when it comes to the finals.

Louis is just never going to get the Boys or Girls is he?! :lol: I think Tulisa would be good with the groups, better than Gary anyway, I think he'd be a bit too safe with his song choices

I thought it was brilliant tonight!
Gary is my favourite judge so far.. didn't think he'd be funny, he's very Simon Cowell-ish as well.
Kelly Rowland is my favourite judge, she's hilarious!! :wub: Wasn't expecting it from her ... Tulisa is pretty great as well. Gary Barlow gets right on my tits though trying to be the new Simon Cowell and his accent gets on my nerves :(.

Loved Roxanne (why didn't they show more of her?!), the girl who sang 'Your Song' and the guy at the start. I thought Kitty was AWFUL though, her version of 'Edge Of Glory' was so out of tune, I didn't understand what was so amazing about her!

I agree with *nearly* everything you just said :lol:

I loved the new judging panel (and by new I am truly excluding Louis Walsh who is the world's biggest div). I loved Kelly and think she looked absolutely stunning tonight. The only thing I disagree with you about is Gary: I actually agreed with everything he said tonight and thought he came out with some classic lines. I particularly enjoyed one that they showed for next week "I thought it was rap with a silent c" - wonder if I can get away with saying that about my kids' work at school :thinking: The judge that I was least looking forward to seeing was Tulisa, but actually I thought she was great, especially the way she dealt with that ignorant twat at the end, what an idiot. Found it hilarious how he was giving it loads of mouth and then almost shat himself when Dermot told him to watch his mouth - classic.

The thing I agree with you most about is Kitty. What was everyone else watching when they said how good she was? She was dire! She literally destroyed one of my favourite Gaga songs by shouting her way through the entire thing. She also seems incredibly fame-hungry and self-obsessed. If she gets to the judges houses then I shall eat my hat...actually I don't own any hats, but I will eat something inedible.

Oh and agree on the family thing - my gran tutted a grand total of 12 times throughout the show (almost beating the record 16 tuts recorded on the launch night of CBB on Thursday night).

It's amazing,

Simon Cowell leaves American Idol, Steven Tyler & Jennifer Lopez are brought in, and they form part of the best judging panel of the entire series.

I can see this repeating already with the X Factor.

Yeah, I really don't think I would've been as excited for this series if it had the original lineup again. It just became so tired and predictable, parts of it still are but it feels much fresher.

I'm quite liking the judging panel so far. Kelly definitely speaks the most sense of them I think, she's going to make an excellent replacement for Dannii who was the only judge of the last series who, when she spoke, it was to say something worthwhile and relevant. I'm still not sure what to make of Tulisa, I'm not totally convinced she's worthy of being a judge but we'll see.

As far as the auditionees go only Janet impressed me. It was a little copycat but if she was to make the finals, her mentor will hopefully steer her in a more unique direction that still suits her really nice voice. It kind of combines all the best aspects of Ellie Goulding, Diana Vickers and Dolores O'Riordan.

Watched the first show.

The only one I really liked was Janet Devlin. The rest were either alright or rubbish.

I didn't think that first guy that got through was that good, just above average...nothing more.
