June 2, 201114 yr Well thank the lord I have the deciding vote! Born This Way of course. Absolutely in a higher league of pop music.
June 2, 201114 yr Only on Buzzjack could a Britney album get so many votes :drama: I mean Femme Fatale is a semi decent collection of songs (TTWE and IWG are great!!), but Lady GaGa's album is an entire individual and unique piece of work, which she had an unbelievable amount of input into (song writing credits on ever track and producing credits also). It is not just a bunch of generic dance tracks thrown together by a group of producers! That is why I find it hard to even compare them tbh...
June 3, 201114 yr Only on Buzzjack could a Britney album get so many votes :drama: No that's calling personal taste. How I Roll is totally different than any other pop song out atm, same goes for Trip To Your Heart, instrumental is sick. People should listen official instrumentals for all songs. Another level definitely.
June 3, 201114 yr ^ The instrumental for Inside Out is MINDBLOWING  Still not up to BTW's standard though (I'm a Gaga loon so what can be expected :P)
June 3, 201114 yr Born This Way - it's on a completely different level. It'd be a lot more difficult if it was Born This Way versus Blackout, but Femme Fatale is just pretty much throwaway generic club pop, save four or five tracks. Criminal's wonderful but that's about it really. And there's no contest in terms of the artistic development both albums represent either - Gaga's developed massively in the space of three years and Born This Way is hugely different from The Fame and The Fame Monster, whereas Britney's barely changed in about four and is still, by and large, churning out the same tired club bangers.
June 3, 201114 yr I would've thought you would love How I Roll Ben! I mean for one it is her best song in at least four years, potentially eight, and for two (can you say that?) it has a sort of indie-pop appeal. It's definitely the one that people who aren't that into mainstream pop always seem to single out as the highlight, probably because it's batshit insane and surrenders any kind of structure in favour of lyrics like 'you can be my fuck tonight' which ironically is probably the closest Britney has come to saying anything remotely personal on record in about... ever?! 'How I Roll' is perfection and probably the best thing she has done (well for me anyway), it's just a shame it's surrounded by generic fodder.
June 3, 201114 yr Born This Way. The thing for me is that Femme Fatale could be sung/released by anybody whereas Born This Way has such a unique individualistic sound that could only be GaGa.
June 3, 201114 yr Born This Way easily! Femme Fatale is nothing special really, there's no classic Britney songs on there at all..
June 3, 201114 yr Britney's fanbase generally has pretty low standards though. Your mom has pretty low standards, you community cum sock.
June 3, 201114 yr I prefer Femme Fatale. I think the songs on it are better. There's some absolutely brilliant tunes on there.
June 3, 201114 yr I prefer Femme Fatale. I think the songs on it are better. There's some absolutely brilliant tunes on there. I agree! Having listened to both albums I will say Britney has outshone Gaga on every level. For one I can understand Britney on each song, unlike Gaga. Also, Britney just seems so fun and happy while the songs are of an incredible standard. Britney wins this time by like 1million+
June 4, 201114 yr Britneys new album is fill of these day to day tracks, it doesn't even sound like it took her nearly 2 years to complete. Sorry but for me, it looks as if Britney isn't too fussed about her music nowadays. With that saying..... I'M GOING TO SEE HER IN BELFAST THIS OCTOBER <3
June 4, 201114 yr Ha, with you on that one. I think Born This Way is A LOT better, and FF does have some rubbish tracks (as well as some great ones), but if Britney comes anywhere near my city I am certainly still trying to get tickets.
