Scheibe is one of the best things she's done. It's weird, edgy and catchy. The stuff she promised us and along with Marry the Night (purely for the final bit) is the best track on the album.

The blonde $l*t look has never been my type to be honest (other than the 'She Wolf' video but that was more down to the flexibility haha) and her hotness was always tainted by how much of a hick she looked outside of the videos. I haven't been remotely attracted to her since the scenes on the bed in 'My Prerogative', SO SEVEN YEARS BUT STILL. LONG TIME.

She isn't really attractive anymore... or no moreso than any other averagely hot woman off the streets anyway. The structure of her face has changed a hell of a lot since 2004 and her skin is really awful now.

But let's not forget the reason her hotness was brought up is because it is in reference to Lady Gaga.

That is just cruel and I am sure Gaga has never had a public breakdown.Britney still remains far prettier and hotter than Gaga by a landslide though.I am sorry to add though that Femme Fatale was just not good, one throwaway electronic tune that merged into the next and all overly produced with nothing memorable except HIAM.I doubt Britney will even get through a whole tour singing live and dancing well.

Not even a fan of Gaga but video and song wise she is really on top of her career and clearly puts 100 percent into it-Born This Way is the better album.

Now I'm well documented as a Gaga loon, but I'll give it to Brit in the beauty stakes - Gaga can look AWFUL at times (as well having moments of being stunning :wub:)

I think it's her aim to say you can still be sexy, even if your not traditionally beautiful; she works it because she has the confidence to. And beauty is subjective anyway, I think GaGa has very distinctive and beautiful features and is very photogenic, others only see a rat's face. It's a completely facetious topic (that word is too good not to use again Jark).

 

Born This Way a meticulous pop album with ideas, messages and substance. It may not reach the dizzying heights that she set out to reach, but the ambition is there to be seen, and it's a genuinely exciting album. To see how much she's devloped in 3 years on the scene makes me WET at the thought of what we could see from her in the next 5. You don't get any of that with Femme Fatale, it's an okay, but ultimately dull, album, with one truly great gem in How I Roll and a couple of great songs in Criminal and Trouble for Me. There's nothing there underneath the surface, nothing to get excited about past the first listen or two, nothing that she's doing outside of the album to make the era particularly exciting.

 

One thing I agree with, comparing GaGa to Britney now is not an apple-to-apple comparision, NEITHER is comparing GaGa to Ooops era Britney: completely different contexts. For a pop album to sell so much in the US in this day and age, regardless of the Amazon deal, is a remarkable thing. Maybe if the market was not so fixated on single sales, then album's would start selling again. Look at Adele.

Gaga might not be hot and beautiful in the traditional sense but the looks is not the point in her career, it's the performance. Everything in her is a performance. Sometimes it doesn't even matter whether you see her face or not.

Oh, another thing. Britney was an IDOL and Gaga is a MUSICIAN. Silly to compare really.

 

Britney relied on looks to sell whereas Gaga relied on artistic performances.

 

It's silly to compare really, and plus Gaga isn't as ugly as people think she is. I mean nowadays Gaga puts just far too much makeup. I didn't even mind Gaga when she was at her Just Dance, Poker Face and Love Game videos but after Paparazzi came out, it's clear she doesn't want to be selling solely on looks.

 

And aren't we comparing which ALBUM is better?
