I don't know why but i'm really not a fan of Calvin Harris. In interviews he's so boring and uninteresting yet on Twitter and in the papers he's happy to mouth people off and accuse them of stealing his songs. And aside from 'Girls', his songs are pretty weak for me.

 

Really hoping for something decent to come along and get #1. After four weeks of Party Rock Anthem and three weeks of Give Me Everything, now an Example song (that's good but not #1 material, imo) and probably Calvin Harris, i'm hoping and praying that something GOOD comes alone. Wasn't it around this time last year we had California Gurls, We No Speak Americo, Love The Way You Lie, Airplanes, Pack Up, I Like It, Waving Flag etc all in the top ten at one point or another? This year is dire in comparison.

 

I've never watched a Calvin Harris interview, but he does seem very opinionated on Twitter. I think Twitter can do that to artists though, and they forget hundreds of thousands of people will be reading. :lol:

 

And I don't think we'll get a top 10 as good as that for months. Probably even years tbh. :( All the top 10 sounds the same now.

 

Although I'm glad for all the new entries doing well. Especially Tinchy and Dappy, although the song doesn't come close to the brilliance of Number 1 imo, but I love them as artists, and the song has really good lyrics.

 

I like the Calvin Harris song too. It's yet another club song, but it does have a very interesting beat imo. It manages to stand out.

 

I hope True Tiger can get top 40 this week too. We should also get new entries in the top 40 next week from Adele, and if we're extemely lucky Nelly and Keri Hilson will get in too.

 

Bounce up to #3, and The A Team up to #10!! That means Dev is gone though. :( I wish she overtook the Lazy Song. It's been around for ages already.

Urgh, why does Ed Sheeran have to be at #9? My stepdad and mum are obsessed with him, seen him 4 times already this year, always trying to get me to go and telling me what a massive success he's going to be. I was so hoping to prove them wrong today. I'll never hear the end of it. :( Good for him though, from what i've heard he seems nice enough, I just don't like his music.
