My humble opinion - the video is very well done, like the videos which tell the story and there is enough of it to be interesting.

Rhydian has proved he is a good actor too beside being outstanding singer. :thumbs up:

When is than a single Parade coming out?

I did hear the song once on our local radio, that's all. :cry:

This song deserves more promotion; maybe I just don't listen to the proper stations. B)

Something different, lol, the video with no dancing and naked women, even the girl in the bed is dressed up - thanks God for that - it comes as a something fresh and interesting. The music sounds like from those times /70s.80s/ when the sound and melodies were different from each other.

That's an awesome video - dark, desperate, very emotionally charged with some morbid elements which just add the different dimension to Rhydian realistic performance.

Performing in the last half a year in two musicals, The War Of The Worlds, We Will Rock You and releasing new album Waves - the first pop album for him, which I must say from the songs we've heard from it is fantastic! :yahoo:

It's rather long article, I'll post just Rhydian's part.

 

 

 

"Blonde baritone RhydIan Roberts will bring some added X Factor to Grease when he joins the smash hit musical to guest star as ‘Teen Angel' for a limited 6 week season later this year. The singing sensation will leave audiences hopelessly devoted to his charms when Grease rocks into Blackpool (17- 22 October), Sunderland (24 October- 5 November), Liverpool (8- 19 November) and Norwich (22 November-3 December) where he will play 1 week only of the show's 2 week run at the Theatre Royal

 

 

Classically trained Welsh singer RhydIan Roberts rose to fame in 2007 after becoming a finalist on ITV1's hit show The X Factor. Watched by millions, he captivated audiences with his powerful voice and passionate performances week after week. RhydIan Went on to sign a record deal with Sony BMG and whilst with the label, focused on classical crossover material. His debut album ‘Rhydian', released in 2008, went double platinum and the following year he completed a 27 date sell-out solo tour of the UK. His second album ‘O Fortuna', released in 2009, went Gold and was nominated at the Classical Brit Awards for Best Album of the year 2010. Rhydian has performed at arenas and concert venues around the country with some of the world's biggest artists including The Stereophonics, Celine Dion, Michael Buble, Bryn Terfel and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa and at major events including Andrew Lloyd Webber's 60th Birthday Party in Hyde Park (2008) and more recently at the opening ceremony for the Ryder Cup. Its not, it was cancelled

Probably best! I just listened and had to turn off after a minute. Never been a fan tbh, and the song doesn't suit his voice. :P

Parade and the video will be used as the promotional tool for the album, which is rather rational decision as the song and the video appeared just few days before the release of it.

Than who on earth can expect the song to be known if the public has heard it just for few days?

 

The video is one of the rare ones who really tells the story and Rhydian is not just amazing singer, but an excellent actor as well and that gives the video the special depth.

The album is coming out on August 1 and let us wish him the best of the success! :thumbup:

Rhydian had interview on ITV This Morning today and he sang his first song from the album Waves which drops on August 1! :cheer:

as much as I had my doubts about Rhydian being a pop singer this song and his singing is surprisingly good. The guy has got a 'hidden' potential, lol - who would have thought, ha, ha :lol: ;)

yes, better picture in this video; the song does get under the skin and the singer, Rhydian? is his name if I am not mistaken is pure vocalist, Very emotional performance,I give the video and singer A-. Minus is for the bad lights in the video; on his head, sometimes he looks like he is bald or something :o
