Would anybody be able to find out how much airplay Adele's album tracks are getting? Particularly Rumour Has It and Set Fire to the Rain, although any others aswell.

Is there a reason radio is so reluctant to play the songs of Disney popstars? Considering Skyscraper went top 10 and was #1 on iTunes for ages you'd think it would be doing a lot better.

I think Disney artists can be seen as gimmicky, so radio stations which want all the hip teenagers to listen to them won't really want to be playing them (considering some of their target audience probably wouldn't want to be seen dead listening to Selena Gomez or whatever).

You have a good point, but considering they do tend to do well on iTunes over long periods of time there obviously is interest in them beyond their core fanbase so you'd think radio would at least give them a chance. US radio can be strange sometimes.

You're right! US radio seems to do what it wants regardless of sales a lot of the time. On The Floor is another example because radio didn't touch that for quite a while even when it was #1 on iTunes. And then even when an act does get a big hit they still often ignore their next release! UK radio is much more logical, thankfully.
