But anyway, if it's already iTunes top 10 now and its airplay is still not that high, there's no way it WON'T beat its UK peak.

 

It's already on 15 weeks on the Hot 100 :o RITD is up to 49, I hope it can make it to 52.

Set Fire to the Rain's trickle-selling has been incredible tbh. It managed to stay top 200 on US iTunes almost all the time since February, even back when its airplay was low. I guess its popularity in Europe might've had a knock-on effect to the US, thanks to the Internet.

That's a good gain for SFTTR. It's amazing how she's managing to get so much of airplay with such less promotion and no over exposure as well.

Yeah, it's taking sooooooo long to take off. :( It's really frustrating, especially since last year its counterpart, What's My Name? practically "debuted" at #1, and then spent over 3 months in the top 10 iirc. This is doing really badly in comparison, although I don't think it's as good as WMN (but still quite good, and I prefer it to We Found Love).

 

I don't mind though. Rihanna always flops every few singles. She had a single miss the top 50 (Man Down), and another miss the top 30 (California King Bed) this year, so I guess You Da One is doing good in comparison to those... :lol:

i think 'Set Fire to the rain' will become her 3rd US number 1, airplay & sales are increasing very fast + she will get a lot of TV exposure from now till February (Grammys) so i don't see why it wouldn't be a 3rd number 1.... i hope it does anyway, it's well
