June 14, 201114 yr Yes I agree 59p is very smart especially with promotion coming up and things regarding the tour! I wonder if they could climb to 30 come to Sunday! C'mon Sats  In all honesty if it remains 59p during promotion it could easily re-enter the top 10! To think it was 37 on Sunday! and 40 in today's midweek! June 14, 201114 yr As long as it climbs in the official chart on Sunday. :) A small climb is much better than ANOTHER drop. JUST KEEP CLIMBING SATS!!! :(
June 14, 201114 yr This just shows you how much us Saturday fans have to cheer about, celebrating they have climbed 7places today. While really they should be higher! I hope the radio see that they have climbed and A-list them! But seeing how limited their airplay was this week I highly doubt this! Edited June 14, 201114 yr by lee wallace
June 14, 201114 yr Thank god for the climb :o cannot believe it's 59p! They should have done that last week though IMO. The thought hadn't crosed my mind about a price reduction, but 59p is excellent - finally a decent decision! It wouldn't suprise me if they put the price back up thought next week. Hopefully it's saved from being booted out the Top 40 this week. I hope to see a climb in the midweeks tomorrow!
June 14, 201114 yr I genuinely don't care about the chart placings anymore. I just want it to sell! I mean, plenty of songs peak outside the top ten and go on to sell a good amount. I genuinely don't care if it doesn't return to the top 20, as long as it hangs about the top 100 for a decent amount of time and racks up the sales. 57K after three weeks is a bit poor. 'Missing You' sold that in one week. But this is completely different circumstances, I guess.
June 14, 201114 yr I think this will sell 13,000 this week I really do bringing it's total to 70,000! If it stays 59p during promotion who knows what could happen during promotion week! 20 Coldplay Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall 18.5% 21 David Guetta Where Them Girls At (feat. Nicki Minaj & Flo Rida) 16.9% 22 Katy B Easy Please Me 14.8% 23 Swedish House Mafia Save the World (Radio Mix) 14.7% 24 Beyoncé Run the World (Girls) [single Version] 13.5% 25 Tracy Chapman Fast Car 13.3% 26 Wynter Gordon Dirty Talk 13.3% 27 The Saturdays Notorious 12.7% 28 ADELE Someone Like You 12.4% 29 Alex Gaudino What a Feeling (Radio Edit) 12% 30 ADELE Set Fire to the Rain 11.9% Right, Tomorrow they should go around 24th on Itunes as they really have went up majorly after being on 9.7% earlier today. 12.7% Is it's peak in the past 2 weeks which is positive news and the way Coldplay is dropping it could maybe climb to 20th come Saturday on iTunes, that's wishful thinking though as 6% is a big ask! But anyway 22 should be their aim come Wednesday! Edited June 14, 201114 yr by lee wallace
June 15, 201114 yr I've came up with a good way of tracking Notorious's chart updates whilst comparing them with their competition. I'm going to try to do this once a day at mid-day when possible. Only going to monitor the Top 30 and 40. Wednesdays will have the full Top 30 and 40 positions due to the Radio 1 Chart Update. Rest of Wednesdays midweeks to be added later. Tues Mids / Weds Mids / iTunes / Artist / Track Top 30 21 - 22 - 29 - Adele - Someone Like You 23 - 26 - 31 - Alex/Kelly - What A Feeling 27 - 28 - 30 - Lady Gaga - Edge of Glory /// - 29 - 21* - Take That - Love Love Top 40 32 - 31 - 39 - Lady Gaga - Judas /// - 32 - 25 - Beyonce - Run The World 31 - 33 - 59 - Jessie J - Price Tag /// - 35 - 44 - Nicole Scherzinger - Don't Hold Your Breath 40 - 36 - 26 - The Saturdays - Notorious /// - 37 - 28 - Adele - Set Fire To The Rain /// - 38 - 42 - Adele - Rolling In The Deep /// - 39 - 52 - True Tiger - In The Air Red indicates a fall, Green indicates an climb, Blue indicates a non-mover, /// indicates no position available, * indicates when combined. iTunes positions taken at mid-day when possible.
