Bloody hell, the Jason Derülo song is absolutely horrendous. Tuneless, ridiculously unoriginal and somehow sounds both overproduced and underproduced. :manson:

Come on Hard-Fi, top 40 shouldn't be out of reach. Disappointed to see the Kaiser Chiefs single hasn't been released today, means it'll wait until the album's out next week and will probably miss the top 40 like The Strokes did.

Parade well and truly winning the race so far. I honestly think that Parade will chart better now, for the simple fact they are 79p. I think that will be the deciding factor. We will have to wait and see though, I hope SoundGirl can overtake.

Vato is climbing faster than Jason in terms of positions - obviously the sales gap is most likely higher between 25 & 21 than 55 & 42. But still, hopefully Vato can still overtake Jason to become the highest new entry. (Second version now just outside the top 200 and flying up will help - also the EP is still #3 whereas Jason's is down a place to #12 :D)

 

FTP and Hard-Fi also both still making pleasing progress. The Lethal Bizzle song is pretty good too, hopefully that can go top 40.

Soundgirl should have released the South Crew remix(as the radio edit)...And taken a new direction with the grimesque twist...I wish artists would push a few more boundaries these days! it's truely amazing one of the best E.P's I have purchased in agesssss.

Soundgirl should have released the South Crew remix(as the radio edit)...And taken a new direction with the grimesque twist...I wish artists would push a few more boundaries these days! it's truely amazing one of the best E.P's I have purchased in agesssss.

Thats a great remix actually :o :o! I think that would have performed better as Radio 1 would have most certainly playlisted that and it could have set them apart from the other girl groups out there. I still love the normal version too though.

I suppose that's not a bad rap collaboration for a first single, he has had a UK top 10 hit after all. They're doing better than Dionne Bromfield who's so far netted Rev Run of Run-D.M.C.('s son) and a faceless Young Money member :lol:

I disagree about the whole image thing. I think their image is great, they are only 14 to 17 and I think its refreshing that they actually wear clothes and don't have to have club scenes in every video. Thats something I can't say about Parade, they come across quite tacky with their image, and the red haired one comes across a bit slutty. I am glad SoundGirl haven't gone down that route.
