For the people wondering, Britney's "I Wanna Go" is not in the top 1000. Should hopefully climb in the top 100 after Wednesday.

I can see I Wanna Go missing the top 40 officially actually. :(

 

I think it's a good song, but just not the sort of thing the British public want at the moment.

And the Saturdays have always been a second-division act... entering in the top 10 before freefalling is pretty much the norm for them, so I don't understand why you're saying OA/OS affected that.

Yeah. Issues, Higher and Ego for example.

The only dissapointing chart runs for Saturdays are Work(5th Single), If This Is Love & Forever is over(Still lasted a while in the charts). The rest are very good chart runs. Notorious is closing in on the top 20 aswell! They have Live Lounge on tuesday!

Missing You didn't have a great chart run either.

 

But The Saturdays can have great chart runs. I mean, of course you're going to debut in the top 10 and free-fall if you hold a song back for 3 months or whatever. Look at Alex Gaudino.

I'm pretty sure "Up" had a very good chart run. And "Higher" was in the charts for weeks.

Kelly Clarkson's new single should premiere next month with the album out in September.

 

Leona should be premiering a new single in August (two months!!!) with an album release in November.

 

Alexandra should be premiering her single in just over a week with the album and another single out in the fall.

Yeah Alex's album should be sexier and more R&B while Leona's should be darker and more up-tempo. Although I'm not entirely sure if that will actually be the case. I have a feeling that after Adele's success, Simon will want Leona to release another album of ballads.
