I thought the live scenes tonight were all very exciting and well done. It was hard to tell at times what was live and what wasn't. I thought Billy's wink at the camera was a nice touch. The actress who played Lola predictably went OTT with the screams and crying but then, I wasn't expecting anything less.

Soap births are always total SCREAMATHONS. The live section was pretty flawless!

But she is an AWFUL actress. Yes, she was expected to scream, but it was all so fake. I knew it would be so I'm not complaining, just pointing it out. The rest was all pretty good.

I thought Danielle/Lola did really well! It must be so difficult to portray a birth live on TV and she is only 16! I don't think she deserves the hate she gets not just on here, but on other forums too! :(

Really enjoyed the live section though, really amazing!

It was quite OBVIOUS when it was live tbh.

I don't think so, there were bits that I thought might've been and especially during the torch run some of it looked pre-recorded, especially with some of the characters hopping up and down throughout it. The birth was okay, but I think the bits before it were better acted. How bizarre that the whole cast would appear/manage to fit into the kebab shop to applaud her for it though

The character is only 16, the actress is 20

Oh fair enough! But she still did an amazing job whatever age I think!

The Tube bits were so contrived. It cant be long till the Ben conclusion.
Janine/Michael/Baby story is so dull and miserable.I hope she get's a better send off storyline than this  .

I think all episodes will be on BBC Two until 13 August (when the Olympics are over). On which date:

---Sharon returns!---

I'm looking forward to it, and as I've not seen any of

---------her character before,

I'll watch from an open mindset.

Also, there will be 7(!) episodes broadcast that week, with

Heather's murder finally revealed!

:D

Here's the full schedule for over the Olympics:

Monday 30th July: 8.00-8.30pm (BBC Two)

Tuesday 31st July: 7.30-8.00pm (BBC Two)

Thursday 2nd August: 7.30-8.00pm (BBC Two)

Monday 6th August: 8.00-8.30pm (BBC Two)

Tuesday 7th August: 7.30-8.00pm (BBC Two)

Thursday 9th August: 7.30-8.00pm (BBC Two)

So basically the same except no Fridays and they're on BBC Two.

fantastic news that they are having everything after the Olympics, I think from the 30th-9th will be quite average eposides tbh. Does anyone know when Kirkwoods last eposide is

The week after the Olympics sounds HUGE. I am stupidly excited about

Sharon's return

.

Kirkwood's last one was a couple of weeks ago Lee but his storylines will be on screen all summer.

I don't think there's enough hyperbole IN THE WORLD for Sharon's comeback trailer.

OMG! Denise's or Billy's would have to be my favourite reaction.

I LOVE that she just floats down from nowhere. My friend actually thought there was going to be a hurricane in Eastenders

Why would Eastenders need a hurricane when they have SHARON?
