What will happen is there will be 11 rounds, round 1 being 2000, then 2001 etc. up to round 10 which will be 2009. Round 11 will be 2010 and 2011 combined as there are not enough songs from 2011 to have its own round. The top 4 from each round will go straight to the final, and 5th to 7th placed will go in a "wildcard" round. But, to spice things up we will not go in order of the years. Now you know why this isn't round one (I haven't missed it out, but will go back to it later) The top ten songs from the "wildcard" round will be put into the final round to make a top 54 of the decade. You will vote from 54, but four unlucky songs will miss out on making the top 50 in the results thread. This will be the last rate of the ultimate 'series'. How you rate the songs; exactly the same as last time, you do not rate every song that hit number two, you just rate your ten favourites and your least favourite. June 18, 201114 yr It's getting worse.... :( Just spent a thrilling last half hour reminding myself of a number of these, again I realised why I can't remember them! The charts were in such a poor way for some of these songs to get to No.2. So utterly forgettable, I could recall 95%, at least, of the No.2's from 70's, 80's and 90's - upto about 1997 when the charts just become ridiculously fast.
