PS. Thank you for playing the Lightning Seeds on a regular basis on your station. However, do we really need to hear Sex on Fire and When We Were Young every single day? Also, there seems to be a relative lack of Teenage Fanclub on the station.

The Circle as in the one they released in about 1995?

 

 

If it's with Kronenberg I imagine it's the slowed down acoustic version as it's their thing, I'm sure you'll have seen the adverts with Lemmy and Suggs singing slowed down versions of 'Ace of Spades' and 'Baggy Trousers'

I really haven't... I don't really do channels with commercials.

Obviously being a student I watch enough Comedy Central and Sky Sports to see plenty of beer adverts!

Ocean Colour Scene eh? Yeah, that about sums up commercial daytime radio in a nutshell. They've never been good - not even in their early days when they were forced to sound a little baggy to fit in.
