^ Its HAD great TV support SINCE it was released. Very good in fact. Also it was the lead single, and first beyonce single for a long while, aka more hype.

And yes as you say, most fans will be buying the whole album itself rather then individual tracks.

 

Yes, but we are talking about when it was first released - aka its chance to go top 10. 'Best Thing I Never Had' has had far more promo than 'RTW' had at this point, so has a chance of going top 10, the thing RTW never could. We are not talking about its longevity.

Can we have a Beyonce top 1000 update? Just so we can see the impact after her Glasto set. :D

Its a completely different situation, they cant really be compared. Also i wouldnt go as far to say 'far more promo' its had a little airplay and one performance tonight, which i'm really hoping will be enough for top 10!

Good riddance to them. Cheap, tacky songs aren't welcome (although tbf, the chart has a fair few of them anyway)!

 

I would rather 'Broken-Hearted Girl' gets performed and rockets up the chart.

I never really liked Halo or Broken Hearted Girl tbh. My favourite is probably Video Phone (yes, shocker, I like a song with Lady Gaga on it :lol:) or Single Ladies, or maybe even Sweet Dreams.

Well Coldplay made a huge impact, and Beyonce is the headline act, so even more people are excited to see her. I think she will do well.

I seem different on Buzzjack, but my music taste is quite normal in real life I think. :lol:

 

It's funny actually, because on here, me saying I like Bass Down Low, for example, gets me a lot of "WTF are you on?" type comments, but in real life most of the people I know love that song, and I get the "WTF are you on?" type comments when I say I like Rihanna. :lol:

 

I like Halo/Walking On Sunshine, to be fair, but I think the original is too slow for me. Video Phone I love, but I think Beyonce's orgasm noises are a bit of a turn on, and I love the beat. I can see why people don't like it, since it's very repetitive, but it doesn't bother me, since I'd have it on repeat all the time anyway.

Beyoncé doesn't particularly strike me as someone who'd get a massive boost in sales from being at a festival. They will get a boost, sure, but I doubt she'll get anywhere near 7 top 100 entries (as Coldplay have - they have 8 entries but one was there akready)
