You were comparing Colplay's I-Tunes position with Beyonce's. I was just reminding you that the circumstances are a little different.

How are the circumstances different at all? I posted earlier that Beyoncé doesn't strike me as someone who'd have a massive effect from Glastonbury (at least compared to Coldplay anyway) and so far it looks like I might be right :P

Best Thing I Never Had is STILL not top 1000 on iTunes.

That's because it's not released...?

EDIT: Oh, it is. Didn't realise it'd passed midnight. I should probably go to bed.

In any case, how exactly would it be top 1,000 in less than 15 minutes with no pre-orders?

When I wake up tomorrow I expect to see Beyonce songs all over iTunes muhahah  :heehee:

When I wake up tomorrow expect Beyonce to be all over iTunes muhahah  :heehee:

I wouldn't get your hopes up. Run The World (Girls) has climbed a grand total of one place so far.

I think the point they were making is that many people might have gone to bed straight after she had finished as they have work in the morning, so are not downloading her music just now as they need to sleep for work tomorrow, which is a fair point. Some people might download some of her songs when they get back from work tomorrow, so mabye her boost wont be as fast but will be consistent.

Mabye it won't work out that way, but thats the point they were trying to make.

I hope she can get at least 20 songs in the iTunes top 1000 by tommorrow!!! :o :)

Doubt it. BAR BuzzJack, most of the reaction I've seen across facebook has been pretty negative.

Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall only rose a few places and hour or two after it was performed, but now its at #11 when combined. You need to give it time.

Ok well you'll see in the morning. Also have a look at the album chart on iTunes I Am Sasha, deluxe & platinum editions are climbing rapidly along with the deluxe edition of B'Day and '4' is heading for #1, so i expect what i expect will happen. :heehee: :D

I'd say that's purely down to who you have on Facebook tbh. My Twitter and Facebook are pretty much exclusively positive...

Gotta say I'm suprised to see a fair bit of a negative response to Beyonce at Glasto here. I've seen nothing but praise everywhere else for it. (well ok everywhere else may or may not be Twitter/Facebook but let's ignore this).

Thought she was phenomenal myself. Makes you realise how many great songs she's had over the years, as Destiny's Child and in her solo career. I found myself loving even songs I've previously been indiffernet towards ('Why Dont You Love Me' for example).

Mine too.

And as I already said, my entire Facebook friends list seems completely indifferent! There's been no mention of it positive or negative. In comparison there have been 3 different statuses about Family Guy.

But yeah, I don't think you can judge the public's reaction by individual Facebooks/Twitters.

Took the words out of my mouth. All i see is positive if i'm completely honest. I'm glad most of the people I know cant deny talent when they see it, regardless of music taste. ^_^

Hmm I guess so. Most of the statuses on my feed are either, "BEYONCE WOULD DEFF GET IT!!11"!!" or that she has single handedly ruined Glastonbury.

:manson:

I've seen mainly positive things about Beyonce. Some negative things here and there of course, but generally it's been positive.

I don't think it's fair to use Buzzjack to guage public opinion, because Beyonce is quite hated on here in comparison to with the general public.
