Agreed, and I suspect it's sales at #5 will have been quite good too.

Frozen sold 63,000 copies in it's third week, again courtesy of Gezza.

So I've just noticed that American pie was responsible for knocking pure shores off the top spot, this is quite ironic because Madonna was furious that William didnt offer pure shores to her (apparently) , and under the bridge / lady marmalade by all saints prevented ray of light from hittin number 1 !

I also don't get the hate from Madonna fans about the cover , I like it and its sales were huge !!

I like it too, I prefer it to the original because with that I get that nauseous feeling you sometimes get. It's certainly not as bad as people make out, I think it's just because it's a cover of a classic song.

'Ray of Light' sold 45k in its second week in the chart (at #8).

'The Power of Goodbye' sold 58k to debut at #6 (courtesy of Gezza in the Chart Show Thread). That's almost 25k more than previous single 'Drowned World' managed!

That sounds about right - sold 5k between August 2008 and September 2010 so abiding by that it should be on ~195k.

To be fair to Drowned World, she did perform the Power of Good-bye on TOTP.
