Hello and VELKOMMEN TIL Unknown Pleasures VI!

 

This edition will be hosted by magnificent (((( PAVEL )))), as you may have noticed.

 

To participate all you need to do is PM myself the name of a song you wish to participate in the contest with, its YouTube (or vimeo, soundcloud, etc.) link and the link to the mp3, if possible.

 

Do NOT under any circumstances reveal your entry in this thread, or anywhere on the forum. If you do that it may result in disqualification.

 

Not every song can be used in the contest. Here are the rules, which i kindly copied from the previous thread:

 

Rule ONE: There is no rule with regard to genre or length of track.

Rule TWO: The artist/band involved must NOT have reached the top 40 singles chart in the UK.

Rule THREE: The artist/band involved must NOT have reached the top 20 albums chart in the UK.

Rule FOUR: The song must NOT be on the current UK release schedule.

Rule FIVE: I reserve the right to refuse an entry if I feel it does not fit within the spirit of the competition.

Rule SIX: You must not at any point reveal or hint at which song you have sent.

Rule SEVEN: You must enter by PM and this PM must contain a link to the song on youtube (soundcloud, vimeo, dailymotion, etc.). You may also include an MP3 of the song if you wish, this is advisable as your entry is likely to be at a disadvantage if you do not.

Rule EIGHT: You may not choose a song that has been previously entered.

Rule NINE: Songs from the same artist will not be allowed to participate in the contest simultaneously.

Naturally, if somehow the song you PM to me doesn't fit any of the rules I will immediately let you know about that and suggest changing the entry.

Love the logo, I've confirmed, had the track for a good month now and its just perfect for UP, very different from my last attempt.

I thought I had my choice for this decided, but then I went back and found another one I'd want to submit. Choices, choices.

Yeah, by the way, if you feel that you have to change your entry feel free to do so. Changing your entry once is a healthy limit, although i'd advise you to think first before confirming.

My choice is probably my favourite yet so hopefully others agree!

Confirmed one of my favourite songs of all time; I've played it almost 100 times since last year, and have finally decided to enter it. I had to upload the track myself; but at least now the tags are all correct and I purchased it from iTunes, so I assume that means the quality will be good too for the audio snobs among you :D
