Someone Like You up to #29 now. It was close to falling out of the top 40 not long ago, so I think the news about it selling a million is helping it a bit (not that it needs anymore help of course ).

Very true .

Just wondering which song gonna be top 10 first: Super Bass or Set Fire to the rain

Hopefully it will be Adele's epic track

I think it will do well. It's the sort of thing the UK likes at the moment.

You mean - Robyn has added a rapper as a featured artist...?

No. That's popular aswell, but I mean electropop/dance-pop club bangers and female-led ballads are popular at the moment, so Robyn fits in well atm (since she's like somewhere between the two ).

Hopefully both get in. I think Set Fire to the Rain will get in first, because it's newer (in the charts), so it's climbing faster. I'm a bit fed up of Mr. Saxobeat if I'm honest.

Just Can't Get Enough by the Black Eyed Peas was #11 on iTunes before its music video was released, and that climbed up to #2 after the music video came. It would be great if Adele could do the same! Although I doubt we're getting a music video for a while. I think they want to focus on the US more, so they'll time the music video to fit with that, which I fully understand.

45 - Tinie Tempah feat Wiz Khalifa 'Till I'm Gone'

47 - Christina Perri 'Jar Of Hearts'

I'd love to see some climbs for these songs soon, especially Christina - I'll be disapointed if this flops.

Btw - the results of my 21st century rate have now started :D Link's in the sig

I can see Till I'm Gone missing the top 10 tbh. :( I think it'll stall at #11 like Invincible and Wondeman.

Ed Sheeran A Team  to 3  :o

Anyone know why it's climbing again?

It was around #36 on Sunday I think so the news that SLY has hit 1million is selling it even more.

People that don't listen to Radio 1 are finally starting to hear it I presume! Beyonce is also back up to #4, Jason down to #5 :cheer:

Yes, it's painfully obvious why it's climbing. Its first week sales were pretty much entirely from his existing fanbase, he charted as an artist the vast majority of the music buying public had never heard of. I said in its thread it would become big, because it hadn't been receiving play from Absolute, Capital, MTV etc. I'm sure he will be now, although I'm not sure they're allowed to show his video on music channels, the two times I've seen its position when they play Hot 40/Official Chart they've shown an acoustic live performance instead. I'll honestly be surprised if it doesn't stay in the top 10 for 10 weeks.

He made a comment on his Facebook page that music channels won't show it because of the content, yet screen the likes of Rihanna's S&M in the daytime which could be viewed as soft porn

If I was him I'd make an alternative video with the studio version just to get it out there on music channels as it could be even bigger than it already is if that happened.

I thought that would be the case. It would be pretty hard to justify though, showing a video displaying drug use and prostitution.

Call Your Girlfriend isn't anywhere near being a club banger, in any sense of the word.
