March 9, 201213 yr Believe me, you don't! You might be able to hazard a lucky guess but there are waaaay too many twists and turns to know who did it by that stage. Turns out it was who I thought it was. Great finale, all the same! :D
June 12, 201213 yr The second season has really struggled at times, but the cinematography and the acting is still top notch. Unfortunately the one thing that stops this from being a good show, is the fact there's no real progress with the storyline and the suspects. For a while in the last episode I thought they were going to reintroduce the theory of Richmond being the killer. I'd long suspected there was something more to Jamie even since the first season, but it truly rules him out now. I think there's only one killer now, and I worked it out at the beginning of the episode 11. Also she's the only main character aside from the parents who the finger has not been pointed at - got to be Aunt "stealing ma family" Terri.
June 18, 201213 yr I really did that was a superb season finale. Stretching everything out over two seasons really did not work. The emotional investment in the story really got me at the end, even though I wasn't sure that I cared the slightest for the Larsen family at the end. And the most pleasing part was there was huge payoff for the continuation of other two major subplots to the murder I just knew it had to be Terri. I think she was the only character bar the parents that had never been suspected. I was sure Jamie was a red herring, but the fact he basically almost killed her, but it didn't seem out of character for him to do it after watching his desire and drive to make Richmond win the campaign. I thought his confession/justification speech to Richmond was absolutely fantastic.
June 24, 201213 yr I'm not too shocked at it being Terri. The emphasis on the Larson family really did seem baffling. Same with the whole Mayor campaign. It makes sense why we kept watching those scenes. seeing how the killers deal with life post-Rosie's death
July 27, 201212 yr Ouch. At least Forbrydelsen is still on (but 3rd season is the last one too  ). And I only got to episode 8 so it's all good <3 Edited July 27, 201212 yr by Pavel
July 27, 201212 yr No surprise really, I don't think Veena Sud paced it very well. Joel Kinnaman's probably counting his lucky stars, especially if the Robocop remake goes down well.
September 12, 201212 yr OMG I'm (still) watching the Danish version. On Episode 14. It's where we find out that Troels wanted to kill himself so don't spoil anything happening next please :D SO. Sara Lund is like the fiercest bitch EVAH. 'Oh, no Meyer, I'm not going to tell you where I'm going because I'm fierce like that.' 'I don't care if I get stabbed 15 times or my son is dead (these are not relevant to the show, I made them up haha) I need a murder to solve!' The person who I think from the very beginning did it still hasn't really been featured or suspected so I believe it's HIM (the creepy friend of the Birk Larsen family, the guy who works with the father). BUT this weird new chief of their police unit guy is my #2. Third would probably be Morten. So close to the ending. I cannot wait to see how everything will turn out. SO EXCITING. AND REMEMBER SPOILERS PEOPLE (if anyone other than Jark replies :( ). Because if anyone posts any clues about WHO DID IT I will make it my LIFE GOAL to RUIN YO LIFE.
September 15, 201212 yr The guy who plays Troels, Lars Mikkelsen, is starring in an Irish film called ' ' which is getting serious hype at many film festivals worldwide. It's based on a true story which is still a pretty touchy subject here today. Brian Murphy was beaten to death outside a hotel about twelve years ago by a group of 'over-privileged' teens and basically they all got off the charges and nobody was found to be responsible for his death. Many believe had they not been from such a 'respected' background and school that they would've been sent to prison, which is probably true. Anyway, this is just for those who are interested in The Killing cast. I actually didn't recognize Lars Mikkelsen in the trailer! Pavel, the ending is quite rushed but still really good! Btw, you should also watch the second season! It's not AS good and the 'killer' is a little obvious but it's still quite enjoyable. It's shorter than the first but it works that way considering the storyline.
September 15, 201212 yr I have like two episodes left, maybe three. I can't quite remember. I just know I'm on the last disc. I think Pavel and I are thinking it's the same guy. This has been one of the most gripping crime shows I've ever seen. So well shot, acted, etc etc etc. Getting the second season for Christmas ^_^
September 17, 201212 yr So I'm totally over the thought that Vagn did it. Morten~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SO DID IT.
September 19, 201212 yr The actual reveal where we find out the identity of the killer is one of the best things I've seen on television ever. It's so clever and so unbearably tense. YES. SARA(jevo). 84 GOOSEBUMPS. Yep, just finished watching season 1 of the Danish series. Unbelievably amazing. You just KNOW that in your usual US thrillers Theis' would not kill Vagn's but break down and cry while the police apprehend the perpetrator or something, i.e. your usual sentimental barely-plausible CRAP. And the last scene where Pernille and Theis looked at each other while the latter was being taken away was incredible. But anyway, I KNEW that it would be Vagn from like 4 episodes into the show (seriously - it was just a gut feeling - he was being totally creepy). However I must admit I kind of threw away the idea that it could be him for a bit after Leon showed up. But it turned out that Morten wasn't that innocent either so I was quite right here as well! CLEVER WRITING. And Sarah Lund is INCREDIBLE (Mary Shepard WHO?). She didn't even care that she basically killed her partner. :D Fiercest bitch EVER. You can even see the intensity of the show building up in her behaviour. I love how the family almost moved on JUST THREE WEEKS after Nanna's death. One would think it takes a bit longer to start getting over a death, ikke? Love how so many Swedes and Danes are able to understand each other without bothering to actually speak each other's languages! SO KEWL. Did anyone count how many times the word "selvfølgelig" ("of course") was used? I would think about 1000 times :D I guess Danes love their selvfølgelig. Edited September 19, 201212 yr by ◢p◣

There's some nice Danish/Swedish mockery in it! And the Danish detective says 'for helvede' a lot. :D
September 19, 201212 yr Have you watched Broen/Bron? There's some nice Danish/Swedish mockery in it! And the Danish detective says 'for helvede' a lot. :D FOR HELVEDE! Yes. :D It's on my LIST. There's quite a few of Scandi police dramas I've been meaning to watch. Rejseholdet (started), Broen, Maria Wern (started), Varg Veum, Arne Dahl, Det Som Draeber (HAI Lars Mikkelsen!) all waiting for their turn. Edited September 19, 201212 yr by ◢p◣
September 19, 201212 yr Broen is sublime. I watched the first two episodes just before it vanished off iPlayer. I am getting it for christmas this year ^_^
