They've just been added in the last few hours. when the MAXI is released in the shops iTunes add it too - they've just been a bit early with their update this week ;)

a climb from number 18 to 2 is GREAT but i was expecting and hoping for a number 1!! im sick of the damn shakira song, the lyrics are sooo bad and she's just rented a rapper in the shape of the desperate wyclef jean!! :puke2: anyway....

 

what do you guys reckon are her chances of climbing next week? she does have the maxi single out and a number 2 only equals more exposure, OPINIONS!! :D

 

 

I think she stand a good chance of going to No.1 next week to be honest, Shakira sales will start declining quite a bit, and another good thing in her favour lack of new entries which hardly will make the top 10.

 

It seems to be the current trend spend a couple of weeks in the chart before climbing to No.1

I have to say Shakira's song is waaay better than Xtina's and yet i adore Chrissy to bits! ANOM just aint good enough whereas Shakira's song is just a perfect summer time tune, every one loves it and its getting way more requests on radio (not radio one lol!) than ANOM!

 

And yer, Chrissy might just do it next week with the way the charts are going these days even though i wish it were Madonna but thats another case (which won't happen!) but y'know...could be Chrissy next week! :)

i dont agree with ALOT you have to say... everyone loves 'ANOM' you could say, it has unbelievable airplay and video play compared to shakira! vocally and production wise the single doesnt even match up to 'ANOM' in the slightest. shakira is catchy but that doesnt necessarily mean its a better song, its all down to opinions at the end of the day and i think shakira has the most annoying voice in the music industry!! :mellow:

I'm really suprised Christina couldn't do it. I'm glad Shakira stuck there though 'cos i believe it is a better song all round. I think Aguilera will be no 1 next week though.

I'm not convinced Chrstina will get #1, Shakira was the last ever #1 on TOTP, that's bound to give it exposure, plua the fact her sales show no real sign of slowing down.

 

I really wanted her to be #1, and it would have easily been had the stupid record company not let 65k of download sales go to waste before the release. I hope it hasn't F-ed up what should have been the perfect comeback. :(

whats with all the shakira bitching, xtina got to #2, isnt that good?! shakira's comeback got to #9, so be happy! -_-

it deserves to be recognised and the only way that it is certain to be recognised in the future is if it climbs to number 1.... its so original and fresh, and shows off her vocal talents to the max!! bring on the number 1... :yahoo:

I agree, Xtina is risking something TOTALLY new to the charts of this age, she deserves to be no1!

yep, i mean not many artists comebacks have strayed from what they know, look at justin, beyonce, fergie etc etc!! nelly furtado has done something new to her BUT not to anyone else really, although its VERY good!! :wub: you gotta give it up to christina, she has balls... ;)

Ain't No Other Man is at number 4 (behind Justin, James Morrison and Shakira)

The new songs aren't on the top 100 yet but for some reason, iTunes has added the same maxi three times meaning that the sales of the remixes will be split, so it'll be hard to see how they're doing. Cumulatively, they may be selling quite well.
