Well, its gone, and I dont know about you, im going to miss it :(

To celebrate its glory, it may be nice for some of us to post our favourite TOTP performances and memories :D

I will start, heres mine:

Pulp - Common People June 1995

I was 19 at the time, and I can remember being glued to the TV throughout this, I couldnt believe that a band could be so good! Started a bit of a revival in interest in music for me as well. Long live PULP!!

I can't post videos on this connection but....

TOTP RIP

A huge part of my childhood and the best bit of Sunday evenings at Uni. I'll miss it.

I thought they banned singing live?

I thought they banned singing live?

Some acts would refuse to appear on the show if they couldn't be completely (vocally & instrumentally live)

I remember NEW ORDER were one act.

I thought they banned singing live?

errr, no...

I love those performances where they don't even have a mic  Just dancing and miming - cool!

After Kelly Clarkson in the USA and Will Young in the UK, Nolwenn Leroy was the very first Idol winner to get #1 with both her album and single in FRANCE... Here is her first performance on TOTP with her two-weeks-Number1 hit "Cassé"... One of my best TV memorie EVER!!

So what has replaced TOTP this week. A program called Restoration.

No chance I spose this program will try to restore TOTP then? ^_^

No one has mentioned the gaffs - such as:

The soundtrack to Martha's Harbour by All About Eve started but the were sat there like dummies.

Dexy's Midnight Runners performing Jackie Wilson Said which was a tribute to the soul singer. In the background there was a picture of darts player JOCKY Wilson.
