^ This is the UK. I doubt anybody will play her. Remember, Forget You and The Lazy Song need more advertising.

She does really well though, considering her lack of promotion.

I know :(

Even when "Naturally" went top 10, music channels still hardly played it, and I remember Capital playing it only twice.

But, I've seen "Who Says" on TV the most. Channels like The Box, Starz and Chart Show TV played that quite a lot. I've only seen "Love You Like a Love Song" once on Starz TV. Hopefully Disney Channel start playing the video. That was the only reason why "Naturally" went top 10. They played it as much as they possibly could!

What lack of promotion, since Selena hitched herself onto Justin Biebers coattails she has been everywhere in the media, she may have a mostly teen fanbase but she gets lots of publicity.

Maybe in the US but the UK doesn't really care about teen relationships. I mean, have you seriously seen them on the cover of the papers and on the news all the time?

I used to hear Naturally on Capital too. Although I guess they had to play it really, since it was a "hit". It's a very good song too.

And I agree that the Justin Bieber thing has probably got her more well-known than ever (not that it was difficult ).

Websites, the Mirror, the Sun, gossip mags are always covering them.Plus ahe was sick recently and even the Mail did a story.

Cant believe JLS - She Makes Me Wanna isn't top 200 on pre orders yet, But Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger has been between #30 to #60 for over 2 week's

You have nothing to worry about JLS are obviously going to No 1, its a shame that they will not hold on for two weeks as Swagger Jagger is such a monstrosity.

I've even seen Digital Spy report on Selena Gomez before! :o

I wonder if she'll ever get another top 40 hit here. I think she could. Maybe if she appears on Pixie Lott's album to return the favour, and then it gets released as a single.]

I can believe it, since Swagger Jagger>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>She Makes Me Wanna

In my opinion, of course. I honestly can't stand She Makes Me Wanna. Their worst song apart from Love You More. I can't stand it. It's too generic for me, and I find it boring too.

Hahaha am glad swagger jagger is doing well in pre orders, Looks like she will get #1, Just abit shocked at JLS there song's out sunday and still no sign of it. :\

I'm quite confident JLS will get #1, even if the pre-orders aren't looking amazing. If they don't get to #1, I'm hoping Ed Sheeran somehow manages to climb there.

233. Avril Lavigne - Smile

This song is way too good to flop. :(

Oh and...

 54. Selena Gomez & the Scene - Love You Like a Love Song :D

I think "Naturally" did so well because she did a CD signing and was kindah everywhere for the release.

And I suppose "Love Song" is the most similar to "Naturally", single wise, that she has done. Had she promoted "A Year Without Rain" (the single), I think that woulda got Top 40.

"Naturally" reached #7 on iTunes the day it was released. (On the Sunday). And then I remembered Selena did the signing on the Monday, and I remember my little cousin begging her mum to let her go.

"Naturally" did so well because Disney Channel played the music video non-stop. Between TV shows and movies. They just constantly played it. Which, I guess was very good airplay for her. But, at the same time, it also did well because the song is actually amazing! :D

Naturally only peaked at #29 in the US, but got #77 in the year-end chart!!!! :o :o

It must've had INSANE longevity to do that. Like Dog Days Are Over in the UK.

This is the strength for Selena. Longevity.

Who Says in the US peaked only on 21# but March-July the song was between 21 and 35-40 on BB100, and the song went platinum, now it reached 1.3-1.4million.

You're right! :o The chart run for Naturally was: 39-42-36-29-47-55-37-36-37-43-54-50-46-42-40-40-37-36-35-40-42

That's insane! 4 runs in the top 40, and it's 4th run was it's longest run! It entered the chart at #39, but 5 months later it was still #42!!!! No wonder it got year-end #77 then. It's a shame all these people didn't buy the song in the same week.

That's like if a song entered the top 40 now, and only peaked at #29, but was still at #40 at Christmas.

And as you said, Who Says also has only peaked at #21, but it's on it's 17th consecutive week in the top 40! :o

LMFAO up to #79! :o It's basically the only song actually moving on the chart atm.

Also, I was happily listening to What's My Name? on Youtube, and then David Guetta's face popped up on the screen. So I take this to mean that the music video to Little Bad Girl has just been released.

Also, Example said on Twitter his next music video is premiering on Channel 4 in a few hours, and will be on Youtube a bit after that.

And in other news, Ed Sheeran is recording yet ANOTHER song with Devlin.

I'm wondering if Nicki Minaj has an outside chance of going top 10 officially this week... currently 11 and 139

The Wanted are actually increasing their lead :o DJ Fresh down to 0.679984 :yahoo:

Ed Sheeran is on 0.618905 - I wonder if there could be a very, very small chance he could overtake DJ Fresh into #2 on iTunes by the end of the week? (He won't overtake officially due to all of DJ Fresh's multiple versions though ofc)
