Which rappers have been bigger in the 21st Century then?

I posted a list of the biggest-selling rappers of the decade (albums and singles) in the US in another thread, and Nelly was really high up the list.

I'm sure he'd be much lower if it was just based on singles sales :P I don't think the two should be combined, there should be separate lists for each IMO. He's certainly one of the biggest selling rappers of the 21st century albums-wise (possibly second only to Eminem) at least in the USA but he's probably much lower singles-wise.

Yes, you're probably right, to be fair. Anyway, I found the list:

1. Eminem

2. Nelly

3. 50 Cent

4. Jay-Z

5. Kanye West

6. Ludacris

And if you count the Black Eyed Peas, they go inbetween Jay-Z and Kanye.

50 Cent did incredibly with some of his albums aswell. He had the highest-selling album of 2003, I think! :o

Also, bear in mind, Eminem and Nelly's careers began at quite an appropriate time if you want to be considered biggest rapper of the decade.

EDIT: Just did the research, and 50 Cent had the biggest-selling album in 2003 AND 2005! :o It's weird to think in the US in those years his albums were the equivalent of 21 (in terms of popularity, not in terms of content ).
