July 11, 201115 yr I really hate how this album was managed I dislike that there was not a new single, I don’t like the order of the tracks either!! It should have followed the chronological order that ‘Immaculate Collection’ had! 15 tracks is far too short to warrant her second greatest hits compilation! The immaculate collection has 17 tracks. So I changed the rules and included 19 tracks! 01. Erotica 02. Deeper And Deeper 03. Fever (video edit) 04. Rain 05. Secret 06. Take A Bow 07. Bedtime Story 08. Human Nature 09. You'll See 10. Don’t Cry For Me Argentina Miami Mix 11. Frozen 12. Ray Of Light 13. The Power Of Good - Bye 14. Beautiful Stranger 15. American Pie – Huge successful song for commercial reasons should have been on the album, but left off the music album!! 16. Music 17. Don't Tell Me 18. What It Feels Like For A Girl 19. New track which had a single release!!

Ok, GHV2 wasn't managed great but I do agree with Madonna why should it be called "greatest hits" if it has new songs on it but of course I'd love new tracks on there. I think the GHV2 Megamix should of been a bonus track on it.

I think the GHV2 Megamix should of been a bonus track on it. Well how could justify my love / rescue me be part of her immaculate collection without being released. I think madonna was too busy at this time to record new material so used that quote has her get out clause! She also added two new songs to her 'celebration' GH collection.
July 12, 201115 yr Author In a ideal world the songs should sell the album it's self with out any new ones. You're probably right Madonna was too busy but that's Madonna & Warner's fault. She had just finished touring so maybe she needed a break from her music. So she leapt into doing Swept Away. But just doing an interview with Jo Wiley and saying the words I have a new album out it's called GHV2 at the turner prize awards was just not enough. The general UK fans wouldn't even know there was a promo GHV2 Megamix and video out there. I know it's no excuse for her lack of promotion but when you look at the drowned world tour madonna had been performing 10 of the 15 songs on the album from June - September (Drowned World, Beautiful Stranger, Ray Of Light, Frozen, Don't Tell Me, Human Nature, Secret, Music) with Don't Cry For Me Argentina's instrumental and the spanish version of WIFLFAG. (Only Erotica, Deeper And Deeper, The Power Of Good-bye, Take A Bow & Bedtime Story she didn't promote on the tour). As for the Immaculate Collection it would have been a crime if she didn't do a new song for that after a mega year for her. The video for Justify My Love sold the imc. Rescue Me didn't nothing for it because she never promoted it and still hasn't. (I really wouldn't count the clips of her on tour as a video). As for Celebration her promotion for that was just slightly better promotion than GHV2. Just like Rescue Me, Revolver never got promotion.
July 12, 201115 yr In a ideal world the songs should sell the album it's self with out any new ones. I agree but her albums sold millions especially ROL and MUSIC which make up the bulk of the album - Too many people would have owned all these songs!!
