July 11, 201113 yr TIU has not sold 1,000,000. Maybe it's sold that worldwide but it's still quite a way off in the UK (but I think it could eventually pass 1 million in the UK, expecially if it gets a boost around the release of album 2). Pixie Lott sales are actually quite big, every single has reached over 100,000 sales with Cry Me Out & MamaDo going over 300,000 and Boys and Girls going way 200,000. Not had a update so things could be different. Turn it Up Album has sold around 820,000. I hope it somehow manages to reach 900,000 but i highly doubt this. 100,000 isn't really an achievement for a top 20 hit and 300,000 isn't particularly an achievement for a #1. Her only song that I'd say has big sales considering its peak is Cry Me Out. (Is that her highest selling single?) Edited July 11, 201113 yr by Bré
July 11, 201113 yr THINK: Top 3, especially as it's not OA/OS and Pixie has proved to be popular. WANT: Flop, because she is absolutely horrendous.
July 11, 201113 yr Cry Me Out was way over 300,000 over 1 and a half year ago. That or Mama Do might be over 400,000. I hope she gets a massive boost from All About Tonight on album one and cross over 900,000 asap! Album coming out in November. I think this rules her out for number one album but I think the album will sell over 300,000 especially during Christmas time and her popularity. She sold out her tour in hours.
July 12, 201113 yr She premiered it on Radio 1 this morning. I think it's her best single, so far! I think it will chart top 3 but I would love for it go #1! :D Single is being released September 4th. This is what I call *real* pop music, not all that dance-urban stuff - #1 on both questions! Plus, she's still very cute... :) Edited July 12, 201113 yr by vidcapper
July 12, 201113 yr I love it! Shame it is released same week as Sugababes as I want both to be number 1 :( The Sugababes are *so* over - they haven't been good since their 2nd line-up.
July 12, 201113 yr Really? She always strikes me as a singer who the public don't really identify with, but like the songs. Besides, this is only her second album. We can't really call her a name. She also looks like a likely contender for the sophomore slump. I think low top 10. Probably not a challenger for #1. I don't think you can say the public don't identify with her when her album has sold 800k+. I think this will get to number one for many reasons (As things stand) - They're no other releases at the moment only Sugababes. - Pixie will have brilliant airplay - If Mama Do & Boys & Girls could get number one... - Most Singles that are not released on Sale seem to get number one now. - She will also promote the hell out of it. Not to mention she has a dedicated fanbase. I think this is a lock for #1. It might fall fairly quickly like Mama Do and Boys And Girls but this is better than both of those so it might hold up.
July 12, 201113 yr Top 3 if they release it at the right time. I expect it to be brought forward at least a fortnight. It's the first Pixie song I like (trust me, I hate myself for it) so I wouldn't mind it doing well.
July 13, 201113 yr I put the top 10, but IMO i think its a shocking song and would like to see it scrape the top 40.
July 13, 201113 yr I love it and think its a deffo a number 1 single! Brilliant way to kick off the new era :)
