this is good, I was expecting something upbeat with a sample much like his first two singles, but this is surprisingly sensitive and Emeli's vocals are great

Surprised that no one has mentioned so far the one song that I instantly thought this was a carbon copy of when I heard it... does no one else think it just sounds like a British answer to "Airplanes"? I do like it (I tend to have a soft spot for emotional hip-hop with big drums), Pro Green is a bit of a personality and his rapping voice reminds me a lot of early Eminem.

They reviewed the song on the Radio 1 Review Show, and when they played it, there were LOADS of people texting in saying it sounded like Eminem/Love the Way You Lie. It sounds like Airplanes/Love the Way You Lie a lot musically (hip hop "ballad"s with lots of drums and guitar, with a melodic female hook), and a lot of other Eminem songs lyrically, since Em also does lots of songs about his parents. They both rap about how their fathers abandoned them at a young age, for example.

Professor Green gets compared to Eminem whatever he does though, so it's nothing new to him really

I can see him getting so much bigger with this album. At first I was sure he would flop seeing how things went with the Alive Till I'm Dead campaign after Just Be Good To Green - I presumed people were over him. But then he releases an amazing song featuring Emeli Sandé, just after she got a big hit and a huge amount of hype! It's so perfectly timed and Emeli's vocals are beautiful on it. I think this will be his biggest hit by far.

Wow, no one on Buzzjack seems to care about this. Well, it's a great album imo, dunno why it's getting negative reviews.

This song is pretty much the highlight:

Brilliant.

Were you expecting many people here to care about it?

I like the album aswell. I didn't feel like it was getting negative reviews! :o Well, I read some, and a few were negative, but that's normal. I'm pleased with its overall critical reception, from what I've read anyway.

I massively prefer 'Never Be A Right Time' to 'Read All About It'. Thought it was just a poor 'Dry Your Eyes' rip-off at first - it still is a DYE rip-offf but it's grown on me loads. I hope it can be a hit but the way it's going ti'll sell less overall than RAAI did in its first week :(
