Syco seem to have hired the same director that One Direction used for Leona both videos are the same.I think The Sats have the better song and video but Pixie is getting the No 1, having seen all three videos now.

I can't see her beating Pixie. She'll probably sell much more than Pixie in the long run, but I think Pixie has the #1 in the bag. Example + Ed will get boosts from their albums being released, and The Sats will probably be top five as well.

 

I think #3 for this. (with Pixie #1, Ed #2, Example #4, Sats #5)

cant stand pixie. met her about 6 months before she released mama do and she is one of the most snobby and arrogant people ive met. quite a shame really cos i do actually like her voice, its just she looks down her nose at you and is not interested in anything other than herself.

Why's everyone going on about the number of Youtube hits?

 

You can't compare the number of views with how successful (or not) a song will do, especially when Leona has a wide WORLDWIDE fanbase, Pixie has a large European one and The Saturday's have little/no success outside the UK..

 

The more the weeks go on I reckon it'll be a battle between Pixie and The Sats, closely followed by Leona at #3.

 

Who Knows maybe Snow Patrol will steal the #1 and shock us all???

 

Looking forward to the Battle though, this will be BY FAR the most interesting week this year.

Cant believe only 5 days till the release! I really dont know where it'll peak in its first week, radio play is taking its time to build up (not top 50 yet!) and the video only premiered two days ago, so quite unpredictable really, anywhere in top 10 would be nice. Top 5 would be great, top 3 would be brilliant and #1 well that'd be a bonus! :P

I think its almost certain to chart @ #4 this week then (even with the EP @ #5) - I think it will continue to climb today and will open up a big enough lead over Example/Olly to sustain the fall towards the end of the week; but it is too far behind the top 3 to get into the top 3.

 

#4 is decent though for a poor comeback single (particularly given the hinderance the court case caused). Hope the rest of the material on the album is significantly better.

Ah Spiidey I thought I was the only one who likes Leona but doesn't much like Collide, for me it just goes nowhere but I felt really bad for not liking it. I'm no Leona loon but I really like a lot of her stuff and was so disappointed with Collide so like you I'm hoping the album tracks are a lot better, still looking forward to the album, Echo is on of my most played albums and 'Naked' and 'Alive' :wub: are in my top 10 most played songs on my ipod so hoping for good things from album 3 :wub:

Have you heard Glassheart? It is similarly uptempo to Collide but has a massive hook and an even stronger beat. I think this will smash if it is released as a single.

 

Echo is one of my favourite albums of all time - up there with Bon Jovi Cross Roads, Shania Twain Come On Over and a few others.

 

I don't dislike a single track on Echo, I love its cohesiveness as a complete body of work and its just a shame that the type of music it encompasses just isn't "in" right now.

Is there a good quality Youtube out there? Didn't want to listen to it with poor quality for a first listen. The Guardian interview got me excited for the album, loving the sound of some of the tracks!
