I'm a big Rihanna fan, but her not being nominated for VMAs really doesn't bother me in the slightest (although it is a bit surprising). Music videos aren't really her strengths anyway imo.

It is a bit surprising to me honestly, especially with videos like Man Down and Rude Boy. Like Blob said, though, I don't really care too much.

Just watch it zoom up to #1 following that performance.

It was the performance of the night in the VMAs imo.

Performance of the night went to Chris Brown, IMO, but that's probably because I've already seen the BRITS performance of SLY, so it wasn't new.

The choreography & theatrics were great, but he didn't sing live.

Good point. Overall performance went to him, vocal performance to Adele hands-down. Beyonce came close, though.

 1. Foster The People - Pumped Up Kicks

 2. Maroon 5 f/ Christina Aguilera - Moves Like Jagger

 3. Adele - Someone Like You

Foster The People probably won't be #1 for too long, Adele is gaining rapidly
Beyonce came close, though.

Beyonce was boring as f***, IMO.

1.Chris Brown

2.Gaga

3.Adele

Gaga sounded so amazing considering everything she was doing.

Maybe I'm biased 'cause it was Love On Top.

GaGa was amazing, too. That performance was stellar.

Lil Wayne has 28 songs in the top 300!

It would be funny if that Beyonce album track managed to chart higher than her singles.

Adele and Lady Gaga also got big boosts from the VMAs! I think they could be top 2 on iTunes at some point if they keep going.

Beautiful People is only #67! :o I guess that shows why they didn't release it as a single there.

Having watched the performances, it's kind of obvious why Chris didn't sing live. Adele wouldn't have been able to do that either.

Lady Gaga's performance was...interesting. I don't think a song like that really needs a massive dance routine like that. And it was funny when it went to the audience. Some price facial expressions. She certainly has plenty of ideas for her performances though.

Still a letdown as it still doesn't top her Paparazzi VMA 09 performance which a lot of people said it would.

Adele's Someone Like You will be #1 no doubt but Gaga I think will stall at around #3, just got this feeling :o

Foster The People are actually #1? I didn't expect them to overtake Maroon 5! :o :cheer: If only they could get the BBH100 #1 now...

Also brilliant to see Someone Like You in the top 3, is it still climbing or has it stalled now?

It has climbed from #13 to #3 since the VMAs so I would say it should be still climbing for another day I reckon.

Adele still climbing, should be #1 soonish, although airplay may prevent it getting it officially for a few weeks.

Loved Gaga's performance, but i agree '09 was better (and her best EVER has to be the 2010 Brits performance of course)
