I think the fact Pixie is being promoted so much already will turn against her. It's still another month before release, and it will have been downloaded illegally in high numbers already.

I still think it will have good first week sales though, but I don't know how good they will be overall.

That Pixie song sounds like three or four other songs put together.

I have a really strong feeling that The Saturdays could get #1 with All Fired Up!

The exposure of All About Tonight already i think will work against Pixie. Nearer release date Leona's Collide will have the video on TV and thats when her airplay will start kicking in, and thats what is best I think. So i still think Leona has #1 in the bag.

I like The Saturdays girls but i really doubt All Fired Up has any chance of #1, i'd say push for top 5 would be great for them with it.

Pixie's All About Tonight is okay, not her best, just quite simple.

Sugababes really irrelevant now they dont have a strong enough fanbase to push them to #1.

So I really see this being Leona Lewis Vs the #1 of the previous week whoever that may be.

Pretty sure Leona's fanbase isn't too big to push her to #1 as well..... unless it's Bleeding Love or promoted heavily on X Factor or other high TV shows, I don't expect Collide to go #1 even if I like the song.

lol Now thats a little silly considering the millions of records shes sold but anywhooooo.

Silly? Think not. You do realize the time when she sold tons through her first album was due to her worldwide hype of her strong her voice is and how she is this generations vocal diva etc? Plus she had the back of X Factor and was the winner. PLUS the lead single sold TONS which also promoted the album. Her second album had a decline compared to the first but still, she performed on X Factor which is a MASSIVE promotion boost and people still were aware of her.

I don't think she's even quite relevant in the UK music industry at the moment as apart from the lawsuit, it doesn't seem there's as much hype about it compared to her previous lead singles. AND she's already gone off the spotlight for 2 years now (I think?).

But then again, looking at your signature and how it's the picture of the single Collide, you would obviously think my comments are rubbish -_-

Still silly. Leona's fanbase is huge, and a lot bigger then the likes of Pixie, Saturdays or Sugababes cant argue against it, (not that I have anything against any of them btw), its just an observation of how they've all done. Leona's sold more then all of them added together, proves my point. Regardless of saying 'Oh she performed on The X Factor' *yawns* its called promotion, which many if not ALL artists do.

In the fanbase in UK, she probably WAS bigger. Plus neither any of them had X Factor to back them up whereas Leona does which is HEAVY HEAVY promotion.

Probably? Was? No. Definitely, is.

Also stop banging on about The X Factor, your point is very weak, look at Joe Mcelderry, Steve Brookstein, Leon Jackson, Shayne Ward, not everyone becomes a success JUST because of X Factor, open your mind a little. Even some guest performers have sung on the show and their single has made very little impact, and their album has received a very little boost, X Factor isnt the be all and end all. Yes it is a big promotion platform, which many artists benefit from, its called PROMOTION, the other 3 havent been on or asked to perform on X Factor because they only get the biggest performers and winners/contestants on there.

Leona stands out compared to the winners you named, purely because of her vocals and the fact she is worldwide known. You seemed to be so sure that Collide will go #1 and if not, the #1 song on the week before. Surely Happy didn't get #1 even though it was promoted on that same week of release..

Sugababes have had SIX number ones and another three Top 3's. Have you even checked how many singles they sold before writing this bullshit?!

Because those artists were considerably WORSE than Leona, maybe that's why? :/ :/

Purely because her vocals, her material, her personality, her star quality. What my point is X Factor is not the be all and end all so dont make it out like it is.

OKAY Happy didnt go #1, why is that the biggest deal of all time? It really isnt. Anyway #1 isnt everything, and Leona really isnt too bothered, she just wants to share her music and carry on making music she loves for the rest of her life so whatever happens whether its #1 or #10 i really dont mind. Just cant wait for the album.

Leona has sold over 3,600,000 albums in the UK ALONE. Enough said.

Do not attempt to list sugababes achievements next to Leona's  Also the sugababes who achieved those hits ARE NOT THE SAME SUGABABES AS THE ONES NOW.

My point still stands The X Factor is not the be all and end all, as those artists prove. :coffee:

Everyone says this when they start to become less commercially successful. Very few actually mean it.

Nonetheless, I agree with you that Leona has a bigger fanbase than Pixie and The Sats, but only because those two acts have a practically nonexistant fanbase.

Good point.... It had an X-Factor performance to back it up, which nowadays is HUGE promotion!

Personally, I like all 3 songs and if I could have my way, I'd have all 3 at #1 for a week each  But that's not gonna happen.

Last week I thought Leona would be #1, Pixie #3 and the Sats #5. Today I think it'll be Pixie #1, Leona #2 and the Saturdays #3/#4 :D

I'm currently thinking Pixie #1, Leona #4 or #5 and The Sats anywhere between #4 and #10, quite hard to call but I doubt they'd miss the top 10. I think both Example and Ed Sheeran will remain ahead of Leona and The Sats on their second weeks.

I agree with You Bre a lot of artists do go round saying they dont care, but Leona from the very beginning has just been grateful for this opportunity and to share her music, she's never been incredibly interested in chart positions and sales.

And what exactly is Leona's achievements? Granted, a huge debut album and then a lackluster follow up. YEAH, right.

You said 'Leona outsold Sugababes, Pixie Lott and The Sats altogether' (which is bullshit). They're still Sugababes, regardless of what their line-up is. You're contradicting yourself.

Leona might not even get to release Collide if Avicii has his way ;) I think the case will harm her, her fanbase is bigger than The Saturdays and Pixie but I can see her charting lower than both of them, she'll be number 4 or 5 I think.

Thats bullshit in itself. Its like Girls Aloud coming back with 5 new members and selling under the name Girls Aloud, its ridiculous and Pathetic.

And i'm not going to list Leona's achievements it'll take far too long, you can google it. ^_^

and she has outsold them all. and none of them have made it worldwide.
