Marry me! haha. Unfortunatly I feel Yuksek has been snubbed by Buzzjack so far. Especially looking at the odds...

Sorry I'm taken, but maybe if Yuksek asked me himself... I can see it going through. My song also has a little bit of an indie edge this time, and a big camp disco edge obviously

This really isn't the place to discuss the attacks in Norway by the way. I'm glad you're OK though Erik, and hope everyone else here from Norway is too.

Extraball is ancient, maybe that is why it's not doing too well in the odds. Although 28/1 is quite good if you ask me.
It's not been confirmed as a 'terrorist' attack, you know.

So what was it then, an attack done with the aim of inducing happiness? What on earth do we not already know that prevents us from saying it was a terrorist attack given it was a co-ordinated attack on several targets with clear political relation?

Although I do agree it's a bit strange putting it in a signature...

I'm alive! :o  What a day this have been

Shocking... just read about it, hope you are alright.

Did you read about it in The Sun, Mikey?

No it was in the Mirror :)

She altered the lyrics.

Well duh, its a response, not a cover... there are about 10 different ones around, including Chris Brown, Teyana Taylor, Lil' Wayne, Rochelle Jordan, etc...

Yet everywhere it's tagged as 'cover'.

Anyway, I'm usually put off by the idea of a cover. It's lazy, unoriginal, and I don't care if another artist brings something new and/or great to the song or not. Unless it's done by one of my favourite artists or I never knew it was a cover. :o Oh look, I'm like Phil, hating on something for no good reason! :kink:

I heard it and thought is was very BJSC-friendly, appealing to both Pop and Indie blocks, was not aware of its "old hit" status though. I searched Buzzjack and found no references to Yuksek, so decided to go for it as I think it's a killer track. Still, yeah, 28/1 is quite good considering it's "ancient".

I need to look for some new music...

It was never even a hit. I know I knew of its existence in 2009, so as some people too, but it was hardly groundbreaking at that time. And nothing changed this year for me, sorry :(

Well either my tastes have broadened, or I've gotten better at searching out music, because I didn't even notice it's existence back then... I was aware of Tonight, but that was it.

I've never heard of it before either. Nothing wrong with sending a slightly older song imo anyway, even if it's not the done thing in BJSC. I suppose if it's unknown then nobody would know the difference anyway, short of somebody pointing it out or there being an old upload date on the Youtube video.
Oh no, I didn't mean anything bad, I just felt that this song was old-sounding because I've known it for 2 years! 'In This Shirt', my previous entry is from 2006, so I can't say anything about sending older songs
I've had my first listen through, and I've now ranked them in iTunes in terms of tempo, so it prevents songs fading into the background. I must say, although there is a lot of dance, there's a few more chilled and acoustic tracks that are really moving me at the moment. I haven't heard any of these songs before either. While I'm nowhere near making my Top 10 yet, my top pointers are becoming clearer.
