What's the difference between these three albums? Is 'The First Album' a re-release of 'Madonna', and if so, what new tracks are there? Are they just some remixes? And what is 'Madonna/The First Album'? Is it both albums sold together?

 

I ask this because Chart Stats has listed these 3 albums, and Wiki only mentions 'Madonna'

There's nothing just different artwork..

In 1985 Warner Brothers re-issued the "Madonna" album and re titled the album "The First Album". The album was only released in europe to cash in on the success she was having with the Like A Virgin album and singles of that time. "The First Album" album was deleted in 2001 when Warner re-issued "Madonna" the digitally re mastered version.

One of the best debut albums ever!! Make sure you buy the 'Madonna' album as the sound quality is far superior!! On ebay / amazon etc its still very easy to purchase 'the first album' however!!

It is a really good album. I don't think there's a bad song on it.

Think Of Me is one of my all time favourite Madonna tracks. I don't know why...it's just funky as hell.
