Apparently the production values are much higher in the second episode. I certainly hope so.

This was bullshit!

Indeed it was :D that's one of the things that most bugs me about this show. It's supposed to be set in the sumptuous and luxurious upper east side but the sets are like something from a cheap CBS comedy. It's not glossy in the slightest. It's just one of many flaws though. If it doesn't improve in quality I don't think I'll last more than another 2-3 weeks. The scripts and dialogue are really bad too.

Wow there are some dodgy as hell Green Screens in this. Not sure about this though, it looked good to begin with but it just feels so cheap.

So not a CBS show.

The crappy "green screen" could be deliberate... It feels like one of those old 50s suspense movies, so maybe they went with crappy effects on purpose.... Yeah, it's a stretch.... But, honestly, I cant see any other reason....

It wasn't deliberate. No way. I also think it's an insult to 50s suspense thrillers to suggest that Ringer feels like one. It takes itself way too seriously for that.

You think Hitchcock didn't take his films seriously....? ;)

You're kinda right though, I probably should've said Ringer wants to be a 50s suspense film....

I enjoy this show far too much. I'm very intrigued to see where they go with this week's cliffhanger. (I think I'm allowed to talk about it here? if not, VAGUE SPOILERS:) Everyone's gonna know within four weeks if she's not more careful about leaving her phone lying around/talking more quietly/shooting people.

I love SMG but this show is so average :(

Gonna give it one more ep to see if it improves

Can't say I LOVED the last couple of episodes, and I probably expected the show to be better overall, but I did love the cliffhanger ending. Didn't expect that reveal to come so soon.

OH MY GOD THAT ENDING. Completely hooked on this now. Thanks for ruining my life Putlocker.

woo episode 4 now too.

Hope he did kill her she's so annoying

No Jake. Sites like Putlocker & Sockshare help to create life.

Still a bit unsure, love the darker elements (such as the end of Ep.5) and they know how to throw in a big twist, and the twists make the pace seem fairly fast but then some scenes just don't feel as good, as eventful, and that drags it down a bit. Enjoyed ep.5 more though and thankfully the ratings went back up a bit.

edit: Been given a back 9 order/full season pickup!

I love the direction they are taking this. Perhaps this will be like 'Nikita' last year? Started out pretty poorly but ended up gradually getting better with each episode.

Aye I'm loving how this is progressing. Really glad it's been picked up for more episodes.

& I know what you mean Jack. Some scenes (especially the ones with the real Siobhan in Paris) feel really pointless and dragged out. I suppose it's all about building up to this 'plan' she keeps going on about but it'd be nice to have something a bit more substantial going on with her.

So are we now meant to believe that Siobhan arranged the murder of Gemma? I wasn't 100% convinced that she was dead at one point, and although it now looks more like she is I'm still not fully sold, they had a lot more potential for stories/twists with her character.

Still don't completely feel it and parts still feel slow in pace, pointless etc. Some people might but I don't care what's going on with the daughter at school right now unless it has some direct link to the main plot, and I feel nothing for Malcolm either. Have him either killed or rescued.

^ I'm not convinced she's dead either. And I agree it's really slow in places and bores me a bit at times but then when it's good it's really good. I just wish we'd see more of Siobhan.
I don't understand why Bridget took her glove off and handled that piece of broken vase. Is there some kind of emotional connection to the vase that I've missed? Otherwise it is a ridiculously contrived plot point.
Absolutely loving this show so far, so glad its got a full 22 episode Season!
