That Pixie Lott blandness came FIFTH?!?

I must admit between Pixie (who really is the most BUDGET popstar we have at the moment) and Shontelle, I'm vaguely disgusted with the Buzzjack collective at the moment.

11 Tinie Tempah 'Pass Out' 252

Katy Perry just misses out on the play-offs with two songs whilst Tinie Tempah is blocked only because he received less top marks. Crystal Castles finished only 12th in qualifying but came 2nd highest of those 15 songs here in 16th, largely thanks to 8 top 2 positions. Only one song was in more top 3s, and that was the song that won.

05 Kylie Minogue 'All the Lovers' 298

04 Eminem & Rihanna 'Love The Way You Lie' 332

A mixed bag here, Eminem & Rihanna were the unlucky ones in a contest long 4 song race at the top leaving another all female top 3.

3 Rihanna 'Only Girl (In The World)' 348

2 Lady GaGa & Beyonce 'Telephone' 371

1 Robyn 'Dancing On My Own' 375

ROBYN! :D

Amazing! Robyn definitely wasn't the expected winner and I'm even more surprised (and almost as glad) that all of the Katy Perry songs missed out. Hollywood to go through the playoffs please!
Decent top three! It always annoys me that 'What's My Name' doesn't soar through instead of 'Only Girl (In The World)' in these kind of things though.
Even as a Robyn fan i dont think she should have won this, Kylie is obviously too high aswell!

Good top 3, definitely.

Less impressed with 4-10, Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart, Love The Way You Lie and What's My Name aside.

Especially seeing Happiness and Fireflies fail, although the former was never going to get that much widespread appeal, and the latter is fairly polarising.

Robyn coming up top more than makes up my displeasure at what came second and third. And a good result for Marina and Alicia too, and Cee-Lo made top 10 too. 'Alejandro' sticks out somewhat as the weakest song there though.

Frankly I'm pleased nothing of Katy Perry's made the top 10. But a shame 'On A Mission' failed to qualify for next year.

Well, that is a very BUZZJACK top 10 but that was only to be expected. Very pleased California Gurls missed out but bugger at Tinie missing out on a technicality!
I'm really not at all sure what that shrill harpy Marina is doing there, but beyond that not a terrible top 10 at all.

Gutted Katy Perry is not top 10. :(

Boo at Alicia Keys and Love the way you lie. <_<

My faith, that had been restored, in the Buzzjack collective's taste after Daniel's ratings games has again been destroyed by an appalling, but very predictable set of results. The only couple of plus points from the first two years results was Empire Of The Sun and Calvin Harris making it through in 2009. Praying for better results in the following rates. -_-
