I can't tell whether Timbaland is a genius for doing a Moombahton track...or whether this is just terrible. Pitbull is actually bearable in this song.
I heard this on Capital yesterday. I thought it was a Pitbull album track at first. It's not bad, but a bit weird. But I guess a Timbaland/David Guetta collab would always be "weird". They're two completely different genres.

Why is nobody crediting David Guetta anywhere on this anymore? On the radio they've stopped crediting him, on US iTunes he's not credited. He's not credited on Timbaland's channel now either.

I hope this song is a big hit. Reminds me of OMG by Usher/will.i.am.

This will flop painfully, mostly because it's easily Timbaland's worst song to date.

The video is reminiscent of a modern-day CARRY ON film except tackier and lacking any ironic value.

What a terrible song? Who sits in a studio producing these noises and believes it is what makes good pop music? How can a producer feature on another producers track? Surely it's co-producing?

It's a simple case of selling a song on name and brand and not on content.

This is the moment that Timbaland became officially creeptastic.
You didn't find his faces in the Morning After Dark video creeptastic?

I thought it was weird aswell that it featured David Guetta. I imagine he just co-produced it, as you said. Like Timbaland probably made the original bit and then David Guetta remixed it a bit to make it more likeable to the public. It's no wonder it sounds so strange though, the two artists are completely different genres. There's also a David Guetta ft. Timbaland track on David's album, which sounds equally as strange. David Guetta doesn't seem to be getting credited in most places now. Maybe Timbaland is hoping he'll get all the credit for the beat, and become more popular again.

I quite like the song though. It's not as good as some of Timbaland's older material, but when you compare him to some of the big producers today such as RedOne, the song suddenly seems really good and unique.

RedOne may be generic as fuck but at least he can WRITE A CHORUS and actually have some "production values".

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what are "production values"?

And if we're going to do RedOne vs. Timbaland, first you need to be aware that RedOne wouldn't exist if it wasn't for Timbaland (well, he WOULD exist, like he'd be alive, but he wouldn't have a career, which is what I mean ).

If you put it on mute and sing "I'm On A Boat" over the top of the video it's actually so much better.
I heard this on Capital at 2am the other day and it genuinely scared me  WTF is this?

The worst thing to reach my ears since Where Them Girls At.

This is just awful. But what can you expect from a 2011 version of Guetta?!
